12 Celebrity Chef Brian Malarkey A former Top Chef finalist and the winning mentor on ABC s The Taste, Chef Brian Malarkey has grown to become a household culinary name with guest appearances on the Food Network, Travel Channel, Bravo, TLC, OWN and more. An Oregon native, Malarkey s cowboy roots and love of seafood led him to enroll in Portland s Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. He later went on to work with worldrenowned chefs like Chef Michel Richard at Citrus, and opened The Oceanaire Seafood Room in Seattle, Washington and San Diego, California as Executive Chef /Partner.
