1 Raw Holiday Meal Ideas Bunny Spice Smoothie From Raw Food Real World with permission from Matthew Kenney Bunny says: This smoothie has been my obsession ever since the first leaf fell off of the trees this fall. It has gotten me through many times when I wanted to resort to hot cooked comfort food. It tastes like the holidays, especially if you throw in a little Allspice or Pumpkin Pie spice. Thank you so much to Raw Fu Member, Matthew Kenney, for sharing this fabulous recipe with us! 1 cup carrot ginger juice (run carrots through the juicer with a thumb size knob of fresh gingerroot) 1 cup almond milk or Brazil nut milk 2 cups frozen diced banana Pinch of ground cinnamon In a blender, puree all ingredients until smooth. 30 Second Nut Milk From Raw Food Real World with permission from Matthew Kenney 2 heaping tablespoons raw almond or cashew butter, or any other raw butter 2 cups filtered water Pinch of sea salt 2 tablespoons agave or 1 packet stevia (psst Bunny uses a dollop of honey) ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon coconut butter (optional) In a blender, puree all ingredients until smooth More About Raw Food Real World

2 Page 2 Raw Fu Holiday Meal Ideas Raw Nog From Raw Fu Member, Joanna 1/2 C almonds soaked overnite 1/2 Coconut flesh (young thai) 3 medjool dates (or equivalent to taste) 1/2t rum extract (optional) 1/4 vanillaa bean, scraped (can use extract, but not as yummy!) 1/4t cinnamon 1/4t nutmeg (to taste) 1/8t clove pinch sea salt 3 C water Blend until smooth, strain with a nutmilk bag, return to blender and blend til warm, (or drink chilled) with an extra sprinkle of nutmeg. The rum extract is not raw, but makes it yummy! The coconut meat is what makes it thick like traditional nog. The pulp from this would make excellent macaroon type cookies! Use some raw frosting on them with a touch of beet juice for a red holiday touch! Visit RawTNDiva s Blog:

3 Page 3 Raw Holiday Meal Ideas Spinach Salad with Bunny's Rosemary Dressing 1 large bag of spinach salad greens 3 mediumm pears, ripe 2 TBS rosemary, finely chopped 2 TBS parsley, finely chopped 4 TBS olive oil 4 TBS red wine vinegar (not 100% raw) 4 TBS rice vinegar (not 100% raw) Alfalfa Sprouts Salt and Pepper to taste 1. Wash your spinach and shake gently in collander to remove water. 2. Slice pears very thinly, leaving the skin on. If you like smaller bites, cut to the size you like. 3. In a blender, small food processor, or a cup with a tight lid add the rosemary, parsley, oil, vinegars, salt and pepper. Blend until thoroughly mixed, or shake until thorougly mixed. 4. Toss the pears into the spinach greens. 5. Pour the dressing over the salad, and toss using your tongs. 6. Top with sprouts!

4 Page 4 Raw Holiday Meal Ideas No Bean Hummus From Rawvolution with permission from Matt Amsden Bunny says: I prefer this hummus over any sprouted pea hummus I ve tried during my raw food journey. It is light, delicious, and super packed with nutrition. It s a regular around our house, and is also great to make and take to a party. 2 zucchini, peeled and chopped ¾ cup raw tahini ½ cup fresh lemon juice 4 cloves garlic, peeled 2 ½ teaspoons sea salt ½ tablespoon ground cumin In a high speed blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until thick and smooth. Serving Suggestion: Serve with dehydrated crackers, onion bread, slices of cucumber, celery stalks, or carrot sticks. 5 Page 5 Raw Holiday Meal Ideas Noasted Turkey Just in time for Thanksgiving! This recipe is from the Sprout Café in Atlanta, and tastes a lot like traditional turkey stuffing. 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine 2 tablespoons fresh sage 2 tablespoons rosemary 2 tablespoons fresh thyme 2 cups walnuts, soaked 12 hours and drained 2 cups almonds, soaked 12 hours and drained 1 tablespoon organic unpasteurized white miso 1 large onion, chopped very fine 6 stalks celery, chopped fine 1 cup parsley sprigs, for garnish 1 cup cranberries, for garnish 1. Place garlic in a food processor and process well. 2. Add sage, rosemary, and thyme and process well. 3. Add walnuts, almonds, and miso, one at a time and process well. 4. Remove to a bowl and stir in onion and celery. 5. Place on a Teflex sheet and form into an oval loaf shape. Dehydrate at 105 degrees for 6 hours. 6. Remove and turn loaf over, removing the Teflex sheet from the bottom. Dehydrate for 4 to 6 h ours more. 7. Garnish with parsley and cranberries.
