19 QUALITY MANAGEMENT QUALITY CERTIFICATES Food Safety and Quality of our products are very important to our Company. IFB - International Food & Beverages Limited s technical department gives the most optimal support to both client and suppliers on products, processes, applications and quality related topics. This includes the classification of producers including auditing of suppliers and resolving non conformances, all according the principles of the ISO9001 and ISO22000 certification of IFB - International Food & Beverages Limited. Available Certificates in our Organisation and from our Suppliers are: ISO9001:2008, ISO22000:2005, BRC IFS GMO HALAL KOSHER HACCP SUPPLIER DATA REQUEST (SDR) A Supplier Data Request will be sent from IFB - International Food & Beverages Limited to a supplier. The completed SDR and required documentation, is being used for classification and approval of the supplier. To that, the information is stored in our data base, to be used for completion of client questionnaires. Certificate of Analysis (CoA) & Certificate of Conformance (CoC) IFB - International Food & Beverages Limited asks its suppliers for a Certificate of Analysis. This certificate confirms the results of analysis of the concerning batch delivered. Our logistic department compares this certificate with the customer s specific requirements (microbiological, physical and chemical). A Certificate of Conformance confirms that the supplied goods meet the producer s specification. For this, the analyses will be performed several times per year. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) IFB - International Food & Beverages Limited can provide Material Safety Data Sheets. These MSDS reflects the hazards and Safety measures for proper handling of the product.

20 QUALITY MANAGEMENT PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS Product related information like Product or Technical Specifications can be provided. They are available for our clients upon request. PEST CONTROL Pest control is important during manufacturing, storage and transport of the product. It is part of our quality system. It manages and reduces the risks of product contamination by Insects, Rodents and Birds. IFB - INTERNATIONAL FOOD & BEVERAGES LIMITED STATEMENT In addition to the mentioned certificates and statements, IFB - International Food & Beverages Limited can submit duly signed statements on various topics like e.g. allergens, origin, GMO and others, based upon the information collected from our approved suppliers our Quality System. PRODUCT TRACE ABILITY IFB - International Food & Beverages Limited s trace ability system matches purchases, sales and batches and can therefore trace our products, orders and their status. Even a trace ability back to the producer and the source/origin of the raw materials (e.g. raw milk) of the product is possible (backwards & forwards). RECALL The recall procedure makes use of our trace ability system. This procedure enables us to recall product (batches) in the unlikely event that they have issues that could endanger public health, before it reaches the consumer. This procedure is part of our ISO certification. At least once a year we test this procedure in order to: - to check and if necessary, to update our traceability system; - to train our staff; - to make them acquainted with the procedure LONG TERM SUPPLIER DECLARATION The purpose of a long term supplier declaration is to prove e.g. the origin for specific purchased products. This declaration will be sent to producers with which we frequently do business. As soon as the completed declaration is returned to us, we send it to the Chamber of Commerce. The declaration is valid for one year.
