1 2018 Small Fruit Plant Sale Variety Information Blueberries: Need at least 2 varieties for cross-pollination. Plant in full sun with good drainage. Plant 6-8 feet apart in a row. Plants are potted in 1-gallon containers. Titan Rabbiteye type blueberry Ripens June - July Very large berries Premier Rabbiteye type blueberry Large berries Upright growth and highly productive Powder Blue Rabbiteye type blueberry Ripens June - July Medium-Large size, light blue berries Upright growth habit High yielding Blackberries: Thornless upright (do not require trellising) plants can bear up to 7 weeks. Plants are selffruitful and do not require cross-pollinating. Recommended plant spacing is 3-5 feet apart. Excellent cold hardiness. Mature plant size is 4-5 ft high and 3-4 ft wide. 2-year old potted plants are inches upon arrival. Ouachita Begins bearing fruit in 2 years. Large, sweet berry. Hardy, high yielding producer. Very upright canes. Navaho Begins bearing fruit in 2 years. Very sweet. Hardy, heavy producer Raspberries: Plants are self-fruitful and do not require cross-pollinating. Plant 6-10 feet apart in a row. 2-year old potted plants are inches upon arrival. Nantahala New release from North Carolina State University. Upright thorny variety that produces dark red berries. Large berries with small seeds Good late season variety, reduces sunscald and heat damage Muscadines: 2-year old plants sold in 1-gallon containers. This grapevine variety is excellent for pies, jellies, jams, juice and fresh eating. Fruit ripens 7 days earlier than Concord. Zones 5-8. Ripens in September. Self-pollinating. Bundle of 25 bare-root plants. June-bearing. Jewel Midseason variety. Large berries with superb quality and flavor. Performs well over a wide range of growing conditions. Sweet and mildly tart flavor Ripens late September. Granny Smith Granny Smith is a pollinator Large fruit with bright green skin Ripens August October Great for fresh eating, cooking and baking. Heavy producer. Arkansas Black The Arkansas Black apple tree is an excellent pollinator. Medium size fruit with dark red skin almost black in color. Flesh is firm, white, juicy and crisp. This apple is excellent for juice. Resistant to cedar apple rust. The apple tree is very hardy and vigorous. Heavy bearer and ripens October to November. Golden Sentinel Patio Apple Scarlet Sentinel Patio Apple Columnar Apple Tree. Enjoy striking pillars of snow-white flowers in spring followed by good crops of large golden-yellow fruit. The Golden Sentinel apple is sweet delicious and firm. Columnar apples are great for fresh eating, cider, or baking and easily maintained. Columnar apples are great small space apple. These apple trees can be grown in yard, on patio or deck. Often bears the year after planting. Pollinate the Golden Sentinel with Scarlet Sentinel. Size: 2'-3' Ripens Mid-September Columnar Apple Tree. Dense clusters of bright white flowers followed by abundant, very large, greenish-yellow fruit with an attractive red blush.
