Afzal Zargar No. CUKmr/Est/Cafeteria/F.No.313/14/130 Registrar 21 st May, 2015 LETTER OF AWARD M/s Power Tech Maisuma Bazar, Lal-Chowk, Srinagar Subject: - Letter of Award for running Canteen at Nowgam Campus of the University Sir, This has reference to your quotation submitted in response to the University Tender Notification No. CUKmr/Est/Cafeteria/F.No.313/14/ Dated for Outsourcing of University Cafeteria followed by the negotiation held by the Committee with your representative. In this connection I am pleased to inform you that the University has accepted your offer for running Canteen at Nowgam Campus. Your contract with the University shall be governed by the terms and conditions mentioned below: Terms and conditions: - 1. Your contract for running canteen at Nowgam Campus shall be effective from 20 th May, 2015 initially for the period of three months (Probation Period). 2. After completion of probation period and satisfactory report of the Committee constituted for evaluation of your performance your contract shall be extended for 01 year from the date of award of the contract. 3. You are required to enter into an Agreement with University by submitting an Instrument of Agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/. Necessary clauses mentioned in this NIT shall be incorporated in the said agreement. 4. The stamp duty shall be borne and paid by you. 5. You have to deposit Rs. 50,000/- as Security Deposit in the form of Bank Draft of any Nationalized Bank in favour of Central University of Kashmir payable at Srinagar (J&K) within 20 days after the LoA is received by you otherwise the award/acceptance letter will be treated as cancelled. The said amount will be refunded without any interest after the successful performance of your Company during the contract period. However, Page 1 of 7

2 in case of unsatisfactory service provided by you, the Performance Security will be forfeited. 6. The performance security shall be released 60 days after completion of all contractual obligations. 7. The bid security (EMD) will be released on receipt of the performance security. 8. The applicable rates are placed at Annexure-I. 9. The rates shall remain valid for 01year from the date of award of contract 10. Without prejudice to above, the contract will be terminated on last day of contract period or earlier with three (3) months notice from either side, during the period of contract. 11. The contract can be further extended based on your satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authorities. 12. In addition to above, the empanelment shall be governed by the terms & conditions laid in the tender issued for Outsourcing of University Cafeteria dated Sd/- (Registrar) Page 2 of 7
