6 Our Wines Zambartas Χynisteri 2017 Zambartas Wines have been a favourite of many wine lovers in Cyprus. This fresh and distinctively aromatic wine was crafted from low-yielding old Xynisteri vines grown at 850m altitude at Krasochoria region. Zambartas Xynisteri has a bright yellow-straw colour, intense and complex aromatic bouquet reminiscent of peach, citrus, lychees, toasted cinnamon and fresh, lingering taste. Zambartas Χynisteri Single Vineyard 2016 Our Single Vineyard Xynisteri is produced from grapes that come solely from our 28 year old Xynisteri Vineyard in Mandria at 900m altitude. The old vines are low yielding and provide us with concentrated grapes. The grapes are hand harvested and undergo a rigorous sorting to ensure only the best grapes will be used to produce this unique wine. After careful fermentation the wine undergoes barrel maturation for 4 months and further benefits from aging in the bottle for another 1-2 years. The aroma is very complex and savoury, and its weight on the palate makes this wine a delight with grilled fish and poultry.

7 Zambartas Sémillon Sauvignon Blanc 2017 Cyprus lime soils and the microclimate of the selected vineyards have matured gracefully the Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes which yielded this dry and richly textured white wine. Zambartas Sémillon - Sauvignon Blanc has an intense and complex aromatic bouquet reminiscent of lemon blossoms, red grapefruit, peach, pear, hints of sweet spice and full, lingering taste. Zambartas Rose 2016 Zambartas Rosé has been a favourite of many wine aficionados internationally for the past eight years and has put Cyprus in the map for its quality Rosé wines. Zambartas Rosé 2015 has an appealing ruby red colour, intense aromatic bouquet of small red fruits and luscious flavour with long aftertaste. A seriously good apéritif on its own. It can also be enjoyed with contemporary Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. Zambartas Mourvedre Yiannoudi 2015 The Mediterranean grape varieties Yiannoudi and Mourvèdre are blended together to create Epicurean 2015 with an intense bouquet of red fruit and soft tannins. Yiannoudi is the upcoming red grape variety of Cyprus and the celebrated Mourvèdre is very well acclimatised to the Cyprus macroclimate producing very balanced wines.

8 Maratheftiko 2015 This fine wine is an expression of the typicity of the Cypriot autochthone variety Maratheftiko. The scent of violets which is so characteristic of the Maratheftiko grape is immediately apparent on the nose. The bouquet is complimented by aromas of black cherries and enriched by an elegant layer of the fine French oak barrels which nourished this wine. Its rich and round flavour of red fruit and the structured tannins give this wine architectural elegance. Zambartas Lefkada- Shiraz 2015 This is a powerful, rich red wine designed to show Cyprus potential to produce wines of world class weight and complexity. Lefkada contributes structure and intense mulberry fruit that carries through the palate. Blended with Shiraz to enhance its spicy style, it has responded really well to careful aging in the finest French oak for 12 months. It is suitable for immediate drinking and will also reward those who age it.
