2 INTRODUCTION TOP GOLFER LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN First ventured into the field of winemaking in 2009, lending his brand name, Louis57, to a handpicked range of locally produced wines all of which are favourites of Louis himself. Named after his momentous achievement on the Mossel Bay Golf Course when Louis scored a 57 the lowest ever score recorded on the course each Louis57 Wine is an outstanding combination of exceptional quality and balance. A delight for even the most selective of wine connoisseurs I m as passionate about fine wines as about championship golf - both require a commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of excellence.

3 BOSCHKLOOF Louis57 Wines are made by the father and son combination the renowned Borman family, namely Jacques Borman and his son, Reenen. Jacques Borman was the wine maker at the world-famous estate La Motte in Franschhoek for 25 years, after which, he developed the Rupert & Rothschild International wine label. Reenen joined his dad to venture into making world-class wines on their own private winemaking estate near Stellenbosch. This winemaker from Boschkloof shot the lights out last year with his 98-pointer Boschkloof Epilogue and we believe he is making some of the most exciting wines in South Africa at the moment. Reenen's vision, combined with grapes sourced from unique vineyards, results in wines of great authenticity that reverberate with a sense of place, such is the Patatsfontein Steen. A momentous wine, shimmering with fine floral aromatics and a palate that delivers balanced power, yet ends bone-dry and detailed. Youthful now, we think that this wine should only be broached in 2 years time. 5 CABERNET SAUVIGNON JASOMA CONCLUSION THE OPEN CHAMPION SYRAH NWC DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL The Conclusion is Louis flagship wine, a perfect blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (63%), Merlot (30%), and Cabernet Franc (7%), and carefully matured in French oak barrels for 24 months. SYRAH NWC DOUBLE SILVER MEDAL TOP 12 SYRAH The Open Champion Syrah is a full-bodied premium red wine, carefully matured in 225-litre French oak barrels. With a combination of oriental spices, pepper, and fruit flavours, this highly concentrated wine is both complex and rich in its aftertaste. DOUBLE EAGLE CABERNET SAUVIGNON GOLD VITIS VINIFERA An old-style Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is full of character with excellent ageing potential. A hint of spice is anchored by the fine Double Eagle 2014 grain tannins, and rounded off with a plush, intense finish. MERLOT SILVER MICHELANGELO The LOUIS57 Merlot is a medium-bodied wine with a dark-ruby colour and aromas of red berries and plums. Merlot The soft tannins give this fine wine a lingering finish and complements a wide variety of food such a burgers, pizza, stews, steaks, venison and pasta. As smooth as Louis swing!

6 SAUVIGNON BLANC PINOTAGE The LOUIS57 Sauvignon Blanc is beautifully balanced with a NWC DOUBLE SILVER MEDAL tropical passion fruit and gooseberry flavour that complements The Pinotage has beautiful plum, mulberry, and red fruit fish, sushi, pasta, curries and salads. Or you can just enjoy it flavours. Its silky tannins create a lingering finish. Sauvignon Blanc with your friends! Pinotage This wine has excellent ageing potential. ROSE SHIRAZ GOLD VITIS VINIFERA NWC DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL Rosé This pink Rosé is off-dry with the delicious flavours of mixed red fruit, strawberries and candyfloss playing with your taste buds. This wine is the perfect appetizer and will complement fish, sushi, pasta, salads and spicy foods. Shiraz An easy-drinking Shiraz, this wine has lingering flavours of vanilla and ripe black cherries, rounded off by a long and smooth finish. FIFTY SEVEN RED BLEND GOLD VITIS VINIFERA A balanced blend with flavours of mixed berries, plums and spiced oak. Smooth tannins complement a long finish.
