2 2 1st day (LISBON) Arrival in Lisbon. Meet with your tour escort at the airport. Welcome dinner in a restaurant of your choice. Check in at the hotel. Overnight. 2nd day (LISBON * BELEM) After breakfast, we will start the visit of fascinating Lisbon, starting by the Belem district, with its magnificent monuments, symbol of the Portuguese age of discovery, like the Belem Tower, Monument of the Discoveries and the Hieronymites Monastery, great piece of architecture that is an integral part of Portuguese culture and identity, also classified as UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will also take some time to taste the famous Pasteis de Belem, exquisite little custard pastries that you will crave. Back to the city center for lunch in a restaurant of your choice. After lunch we will go for a downtown exploration, starting by the Commercial Square, the Rossio Square, where some coffee shops date back to the 18th century. We will then go to the Freedom Avenue and take some free time for shopping. Dinner in a restaurant of your choice. Return to the hotel and overnight. 3rd day (LISBON * EVORA * LISBON) After breakfast, our journey will take us South-East to visit the walled city of Evora, built in the 3rd century during the rule of the Roman Empire. The city showcases a wonderful and well-preserved city center, classified as a UNESCO site and probably one of the richest cities in terms of monuments. Visit of the gothic style cathedral, biggest in Portugal and the famous bone chapel in St Francis Church. Lunch in a restaurant of your choice. After lunch, we will visit a famous Alentejo domain, registered designation of origin site (DOC), where we will a taste of the famous regional wines and appetizers. On our way back to Lisbon, we will makea stop by Almada where we will climb on top of the Sanctuary of Christ the King, monument dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, 75 meters tall, where you can an amazing overview of Lisbon. Dinner in a restaurant of your choice and return to the hotel and overnight. 4th day (LISBON * CASCAIS * SINTRA * OBIDOS * NAZARE) After breakfast, departure towards Cascais, also known as the Portuguese Riviera. We will go through Sintra, World Heritage cultural area, where we will cross its luxuriant landscape, home of the National Palace, one of the seven wonders of Portugal, built during the 19 th century. After this, lunch in a restaurant of your choice. During the afternoon, we will visit Óbidos, medieval walled town with its picturesque narrow cobbled streets that is also known as the wedding town, where we will have a taste of the local cherry liquor Ginja. At night, we will stop at Nazaré, typical fishermen town of Portugal, where we can have a walk by the beautiful sea shore and then have dinner in a restaurant of your choice. Check in at our hotel and overnight.

3 3 5th day (NAZARE * FATIMA * BATALHA * COIMBRA * PORTO) After breakfast, we will go towards Fatima, religious site visited by millions of pilgrims every year after the apparition of the Holy Mother in 1917, where we will visit the holy sanctuary. We will head for the city of Batalha for a visit of the Monastery, symbol of the victory of the Portuguese army over Spanish troops in the year of 1385 and built in honour of the Virgin Mary, to thank her for the victory. Lunch at a local restaurant of your choice. Next stop will be the city of Coimbra, where lies one of the oldest universities of Europe. Visit of the city centre where lies the Santa Cruz Monastery, resting place of the two first kings of Portugal. After that, we will stop at a winery of the region and have a taste of a local wine. We will then drive towards Porto, where you can relax during the afternoon. Dinner in a restaurant of your choice. Check in at our hotel and overnight. 6th day (PORTO) After breakfast, we will start the visit of Porto, second largest city in Portugal, capital of the north and undoubtedly the most fascinating city of Portugal, also known as the Invicible City, acting as a sturdy rampart against enemy troops throughout history. Our first stop will be Bolhão Market, traditional Portuguese market with its thousand scents and flavours. Quick stop at the Majestic Café, the most magnificent coffee spot in the entire country. After that, stop at the Lello bookstore, probably one the most famous library worldwide, which inspired JK Rowling for her Harry Potter books. Visit of São Bento Station, which was opened in 1916, well-known for its superb azulejos painting. Visit of Porto Cathedral, built during the 12 th century and main religious monument of the city. After that, we will walk down to the breath-taking and fascinating old district of Porto where you can have lunch in a restaurant of your choice. Next stop is the famous halls of the Stock Exchange Palace, World Heritage Site by UNESCO, built in the 19 th century and famous for its magnificent Moorish Arab Room. Finally, we will go for a degustation of local biological olive oils in a traditional shop and then cross on to the other side of the Douro river and head to a local winery for a visit and taste of Portwine, the most famous wine of Portugal. Free time before dinner in a restaurant of your choice. Return to the hotel and overnight. 7th day (PORTO * PESO DA REGUA * PINHAO * VISEU) After breakfast, we will head to the Douro Valley, where we will visit a famous regional wine domain, have a taste of the local wines and have lunch in a restaurant of your choice. After lunch, we will go for a boat cruise on the breath-taking Douro River, which will allow you to have a privileged view on the Douro Valley and its numerous vineyards. After that, we will head for Viseu and have dinner at a restaurant of your choice. Check-in at our hotel and overnight. 8th day (VISEU * LISBON AIRPORT) After breakfast, transfer to the Lisbon airport and end of the journey.

5 5 Day 1 to day 7 (Circuit A Portuguese Flavours) 8th day (VISEU * DAO * SALAMANCA) After breakfast, we will head to the Dao Valley, registered designation of origin site (DOC), in the mountainous region of Portugal, for a wine tasting experience. After this we will have lunch in a local restaurant of your choice. We will then drive towards Salamanca in Spain, where we will visit the famous University, founded in the 12th century, it is the oldest university of Spain, third oldest in all Europe and was once the most famous in the entire country. Next stop is the Cathedral, World Heritage Site, built between the 16th and 18th centuries which features a mix of Gothic and Baroque style. Finally, we will have a sight of the city centre at the Plaza Mayor. We will then have dinner in a restaurant of your choice. Check in at our hotel. Overnight. 9th day (SALAMANCA * PENAFIEL * BURGOS) After breakfast, we will head to the DOC region of Ribera del Duero and have a stop at Penafiel, where we will visit a local domain and have a taste of the local wines. After that, we will have lunch in a local restaurant of your choice. We will then drive through the beautiful landscape of Ribera del Duero up to Burgos in the North of Spain. Burgos is famous for being Franco s base during the 20th century Spanish civil war. We will visit its magnificent gothic cathedral, third biggest in Spain and known as the Spanish Gothic Pearl and go up to the Mirador del Castillo, which gives you an overview of the entire city. Check-in at our hotel and overnight. 10th day (BURGOS * RIOJA * ZARAGOZA) After breakfast, we will drive through the most famous wine producing region in Spain: La Rioja, registered designation of origin site (DOC). We will visit the domain Marques de Riscal, famed for its wines and its modernistic hotel, designed by architect Frank Geahry. We will then have lunch in a local restaurant of your choice. Our next destination will be Zaragossa, 5th biggest city in Spain that has over two thousand years of history. We will visit the impressive Baroque church of Virgin del Pilar, built between the 17th and 18th centuries, one of the most important spiritual destination in Spain. Dinner in a restaurant of your choice, check-in at our hotel and overnight. 11th day (ZARAGOZA * PENEDES * BARCELONA) After breakfast, we will head to the DOC area of Penedes in Catalonia along the Mediterranean Sea, region of Spain with a strong economic and cultural impact, where we will have a visit of a famous wine domain and a taste of the local wines at a wonderful winery which is the biggest wine producer in all Spain. Lunch in a restaurant of your choice. After lunch we will head to the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spanish cultural centre where we will have a first contact of the city. We will have dinner in a restaurant of your choice, check in at our hotel and overnight. 12th day (BARCELONA) After breakfast, we will start the visit of Barcelona, second most populous city and replete of charm and elegance. Our first stop will be the famous Sagrada Familia, designed by the prestigious Antoni Gaudi and classified as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Its construction started in 1866 and is still going on nowadays, it is the most visited monument in the city. Next will be the visit of the Gotic Quarter, center of the old city of Barcelona, with a plethora of cultural and historical sites, like Plaza del Rei and Plaza Mayor. Next stop is Montjuic, located on a hill, and its gigantic park, considered the green lung of the city. Montjuic highest point is located at 173 meters. We will then have lunch in a restaurant of your choice. During the afternoon, we will head to the great stadium of Camp Nou, home of the FC Barcelona and stadium with the biggest capacity in all Europe, close to a hundred thousand spectators. Finally, we will enjoy a walk by La Rambla and the five thousand square meters Plaza de Catalunia, famed for its sculptures and fountains. After this, we will have a farewell dinner in a local restaurant of your choice. Return to our hotel and overnight. 13th day (BARCELONA AIRPORT) After breakfast, transfer to the airport and end of the journey.
