2 Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation Created by Coach Coughlin in honor of Jay McGillis, our organization is a living testament to this special young man who played for Coach Coughlin at Boston College and developed leukemia while a member of the team. The courage, compassion, and faith he and his family demonstrated during the course of his illness were an inspiration to many people. Our mission is to help families tackle childhood cancer by providing comprehensive financial, emotional, and practical support. From diagnosis to recovery and beyond, we are part of the team, allowing parents to solely focus on their child s well being.
