A rich unctuous wine with notes of mature plums, hazelnuts and red fruits. Very rich wine full of harmony and balance. 65 Clos Pegas Cabernet, Napa Valley 2016 Dense ruby-purple color with fruit notes of black cherry and plum, complimented with scents of violets and black licorice. Ripe tannin's and rich mouthfeel. 70 Quintessa, Rutherford 2014 Dense and dark in color, with inviting aromas of fresh cherry and blackberry layered with notes of violets, and hints of cedar spice, this wine exudes warmth.
