4 WHITE WINE 10 CORETO WHITE, 2015/16 - LISBOA, PORTUGAL A combination of delicate aromas, delicious apple and grapefruit flavours and a lively finish. Something a bit different from the normal offering and well worth discovering. (1) 12% vol Bottle Carafe (375ml) ml ml PINOT GRIGIO, RUMOURS, 2016/17 - SOUTH EAST AUSTRALIA Vibrant mineral notes with lemony and white peach aromas are preceded by flavours of spice and apple with a delicate freshness adding to a pleasantly dry finish. (2) 11% vol Bottle Carafe (375ml) ml ml CHARDONNAY, BUTTERBALL, EVANS & TATE, 2015/16 WESTERN AUSTRALIA A full bodied and flavoursome wine. Subtle white flowers on the smooth and rounded palate leave a fresh finish with a hint of acidity. The wine is really beautifully balanced with a clean vibrant finish. Plenty of pure fruit character for those who are not looking for oak flavour and weight. A great all-rounder rosé for drinking with or without food. (2) 12% vol Bottle Carafe (375ml) ml ml ZINFANDEL ROSÉ, FALLING PETAL, NV - CALIFORNIA, USA Medium sweet rosé, displaying classic strawberry fruit flavours. (4) 10.5% vol Bottle Carafe (375ml) ml ml ABBAYE SAINT-HILAIRE ROSÉ, 2015/16 - SOUTH OF FRANCE A pale dry rosé, made primarily from Syrah and Grenache, showing red fruit aromas. 6 RED WINE 28 CORETO RED, 2015/16 - LISBOA, PORTUGAL Coreto could easily be your favourite daily wine. Medium-bodied, smooth, balanced alcohol and tannins with fresh herbal notes and berry fruit flavours. (C) 12.5% vol Bottle Carafe (375ml) ml ml SANGIOVESE, VILLA CARDINI, 2015/16 - PUGLIA, ITALY Delicate and aromatic berry flavours, refined plum notes. A medium-bodied style, balanced on the palate with cherry fruit and gentle tannins. (B) 12.5% vol Bottle Carafe (375ml) ml ml PRIMITIVO-NEGROAMARO, GRAN ROSSO, 2015/16 - SALENTO, ITALY Intense, full and complex with dark chocolate and black cherry character. A wonderful food wine with plenty of body and structure for hearty dishes. (C) 13.5% vol Bottle MERLOT, HONORÉ DE BERTICOT, 2015/16 IGP DE L ATLANTIQUE, FRANCE No heaviness, here is a light supple Merlot that takes its cue from many traditional light wines made in neighbouring Bordeaux. An elegant wine with smooth tannins, a classic from the Gamay grape. 7 RED WINE CONTINUED 38 HAUTES CÔTES DE BEAUNE, DOMAINE CHANSON, 2012/13 BURGUNDY, FRANCE True Burgundy quality has been given to this young Hautes Côtes - a real over-performer in its class with vibrant fruit and absolute depth. (C) 12% vol Bottle CHÂTEAU MUSAR, BEKAA VALLEY, LEBANON A herbs-and-baked-earth overtone to the sweet ripe fruit and vivid palate. Scents of fine leather, cigarbox and dried orange peel amplify the flavour. (D) 14% vol Bottle CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE, COLOMBO & FILLE, 2012/13 RHÔNE, FRANCE A big wine intense colour, nose and palate. Ripe fruit and gingerbread spice with herbaceous notes.
