International Wine Cellar November 2011 Josh Raynolds Deep red. Black raspberry and cherry on the nose. Ripe and fleshy, with deep dark fruit flavors that coat the palate but could use more vivacity. Finishes broad and persistent, with a slightly loose-knit character. Ripe berry flavors linger on the palate. A perfect wine to serve with some of the lovely wild salmon now on the market. Just enough acid and tannins to round out the balance on the palate. 95% of the grapes are from Talbott s Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Their less expensive second label is a noteworthy value. The 2008 Pinot Noir Kali Hart has a medium ruby color and a big, smoky, spicy nose with plenty of mulberry and

5 black cherry fruit. Almost Burgundian in its aromatics, the wine is medium-bodied, pure, and nicely textured.
