Life in Harmony The history of Garibaldi Winery Cooperative is intimately linked to the history of its associates.

It is located in the very heart of the Serra Gaúcha highlands Brazil s largest wine producing region, more specifically in the city of Garibaldi, some 120 km from Porto Alegre.

The results of this care are a series of awards won throughout Brazil and the rest of the world.

3 Life in Harmony The history of Garibaldi Winery Cooperative is intimately linked to the history of its associates. It was founded in 1931 by smallscale farmers, descended from Italian immigrants, who, through dedication and preservation, developed the local wine industry. It is located in the very heart of the Serra Gaúcha highlands Brazil s largest wine producing region, more specifically in the city of Garibaldi, some 120 km from Porto Alegre. Grapes and their derivatives have always been the Cooperative s business focus. But since the outset, the spirit of cooperativism has been geared towards people, the leading characters in building this ideal and this brand. Nowadays, Garibaldi presents a traditional and modern sustainability concept, preparing high quality products that are in line with consumer demands while ensuring complete respect for the ecosystem. The results of this care are a series of awards won throughout Brazil and the rest of the world. The Cooperative has associates in 12 different cities from the highland region, with the main vineyards in Bento Gonçalves (Vale dos Vinhedos), Pinto Bandeira, Farroupilha, Monte Belo do Sul and especially Garibaldi. By summing the particularities of each region, we are able to produce wines that express the diversity of Brazil. They are all monitored throughout the whole year by a team of enologists and agronomists. Thanks to the care right from the outset of production, we are able to present growth rates higher than the national average.
