3 SANTA FLORENTINA / Varietals & Bivarietals The Santa Florentina vineyards and winery became a department of La Riojana in 1992 with a specific purpose of introducing an established and well respected brand to La Riojana. The latest technology was installed and supported by highly qualified staff whilst the vineyards benefitted from the addition of a computerised drip irrigation system. These excellent wines are characterised by their intense aroma and fruity flavours. The fresh, young style, portrayed by this exciting range, offer an invitation to enjoy at any occasion. 4 SANTA FLORENTINA / Late Harvest Santa Florentina Tardio Otonal is achieved through the natural occurrence of Noble Botrytis. This produces a concentration of flavours and complex aromas that intermingle with the exquisite fruity style of the Torrontes Riojano. As soon as the Tardio Otonal is poured, one gets the idea of the concentration and intensity of this naturally sweet wine. The rich golden liquid offers up a continuous stream of aromas such as honey, lycees, almonds and vanilla. In the mouth it is harmonious, sticky and velvet yet balanced perfectly by its acidity. This balance gives the Tardío Otoñal a complexity and outstandingly long finish, rarely found. It is an excellent companion both for appetizers and desserts, bitter chocolate and blue cheeses. 5 SANTA FLORENTINA / Brut de Torrontés Whether at a formal presentation or sitting in the garden on a sunny afternoon, the Santa Florentina Brut is the ideal sparkling wine. Produced from the Torrontes Riojano this refreshing, international style wine produces small, persistent bubbles that rise eagerly from the bottom of the glass. The exclusive packaging draws people to it like a magnet. The nose presents a delicate floral bouquet, with shades of citrus and white fruits such as apple and melon. At 11.5% alcohol, it delivers good acidity, that combines beautifully with the bubbles and explodes in the mouth with intense freshness, enhancing the fruit bearing aromas. 6 SANTA FLORENTINA / Torrontés Dolce The Santa Florentina Torrontes Dolce is a young, vibrant sparkling wine with 60gms residual sugar. Whilst refreshing, both the nose and pallet offer an off dry feeling that appeals more and more to an ever increasing market. The typical Torrontes Riojano is shown in its entirety; grapefruit and orange mixed together with melon and pineapple.
