2 THE HISTORY Château la Patache counts 3.20 ha and belongs to MrPeter Kwok and his son Howard since La Patache is a lieu-ditrelay on the national road 89 (Bordeaux-Lyon), it evokes this kind of diligence which went there at this time. Indeed, «les pataches» were in the nineteenth century, horse carriages that served as stagecoach in the countryside. And stone buildings, which are original, were in fact at the time, the former post at the entrance of Libourne. 4 VINTAGE 2011 Château La Patache2011 has a deep ruby colourwith purple tints. the nose, fruity, fine and elegant, offers ripe red fruit notes with a delicate oak touch. On the palate, the wine reveals a great complexity and softtannins. The attack, powerful, elegant and rich, delivers red fruit jam aromas and a nice vanilla touch. 5 VINTAGE 2012 Château La Patacheis distinguished by a beautiful ruby red color with purple tints intensity in his youth, a nose with rich fruits and sweet spices... An explosion of flavors!!! In the palate, the wine well balanced and structured shows a sharp attack, dense mid-palate, ripe and silky tannins. A complete and generous wine who needs to wait a few years to be fully appreciated. 8 MILLESIME 2014 Score: 90 CHÂTEAU LA PATACHE 2014 Quite a sweet, red-fruit nose. Mid-weight with moderate tannins and quite a nice harmony. Already good to drink and should hold for a few years. Score: CHÂTEAU LA PATACHE 2014 The Château La Patache 2014 is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It has a very precise nose: lovely control of the fruit here, blackberry and raspberry interlaced wtih truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannin, a little toasty in style, but balanced with a creamy finish. Give this a couple of years in bottle to really settle in. They'll be better from this name in the future

9 MILLESIME 2014 Score: CHÂTEAU LA PATACHE 2014, This is a soft, very fruity wine with light tannins and fresh acidity. The tannins may be light, but the weight of the wine itself is full, with peppery hints of alcohol on the finish. Score: 90 CHÂTEAU LA PATACHE 2014 The 2014 La Patache has come together very nicely. Soft, round and caressing, it is an excellence choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Sweet red cherry, tobacco and anise add nuance. The 2014 is forward, openknit and ready to drink.

10 2015 VINTAGE Score: Score: 89 CHÂTEAU LA PATACHE 2015 The 2015 La Patache is the 2.5-hectare vineyard owned by Peter Kwok that is close to Château Clinet. A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, there is a citrus-like freshness on the nose - hints of marmalade intertwined with the red and black fruit, the 30% new oak neatly embroidered. The palate is medium-bodied with a chocolate-tinged entry, well balanced and quite spicy. I find there is a little abrasiveness on the finish, though hopefully that will soften and find more cohesion through its élevage. CHÂTEAU LA PATACHE 2015 The wine is firm, dominated by dry, sturdy tannins from the wood aging that is still underway. It has concentration and some signs of dark chocolate flavors, suggesting heavy extraction. Everything needs to soften and smooth out. Score: CHÂTEAU LA PATACHE 2015 A dense and velvety textured red with lots of blueberry, blackberry and walnut flavors. Full body, structured and intense.
