1 WINE MENU LOUNGE49 WINE EVENINGS We are proud to present our new fine wine evenings at LOUNGE49 The evening is perfect for guests who wish to taste and learn more about wines from different countries and vineyards, with the genre changing each month. Taking place every Wednesday, our first fine wine evening will be on Wednesday 18th May As a thank you to our diners we are delighted to offer the guest wines at a 25% discount. With so much interest over recent years there has never been so much good wine available to drink from all over the globe. Yet the fact remains that Spain and Argentina have the climate, expertise and tradition to keep their new positions at the centre of the fine wine world. So to kick off our fine wine evenings at LOUNGE49 there is only one logical place to start. Over the spring weeks of April we will be showcasing wines from different areas of Spain and Argentina, regions ranging from dry whites to young, vibrant reds to aristocratic and distinctive clarets. So join us to taste the finest of wines, classic and modern tapas, accompanied by impeccable service and a graceful interior. 2 ARGENTINIAN WINES WINE METHOD CHAMPENOISE Alamos Extra Brut NV, Mendoza Chardonnay and Pinot Noir BY THE BOTTLE: (125ml) NOSE: Elegant bubbles in the glass, fruit and minerality on the nose with a whiff of fresh toast FLAVOUR: An elegant sparkling wine with 50% Chardonnay providing a creamy texture balanced with the fruity acidity of 50% Pinot Noir. Highly recommended Rosa de Los Vientos, Patagonia Argentina 100% Pinot Noir BY THE BOTTLE: (125ml) NOSE: From the cool climes of Patagonia. An elegant pink colour with a fine effervescence; the nose has wisps of red fruits FLAVOUR: Flavours of sublime, delicate strawberry that leave the mouth perfectly refreshed WHITE WINE Domingo Molina Torrontes 2010, Salta Torrontes, 12% BY THE BOTTLE: (125ml) / 7.75 (175ml) NOSE: Elegant in every way, this high altitude Torrontes from Salta is not the typical highly floral variety, but rather a delightfully elegant version. It has a colour of pale straw and hints of citrus and lychee on the nose FLAVOUR: The same flavours come through on the palate demanding that you try and suck every ounce of flavour before you take the next sip ROSÉ WINE Altivo Malbec Rosé 2008 Finca Eugenio Bustos, Mendoza Malbec, 13.5% NOSE: Deep pink, delicate strawberry aromas 4.50 (125ml) / 5.95 (175ml) FLAVOUR: Intense cherries and strawberries on the palate, with a fresh, vibrant finish RED WINE Luigi Bosca Merlot Reserva 2007, Mendoza Merlot, 14.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Deep red violet with aromas of blackberry and plum FLAVOUR: This exciting Merlot is rich, buttery and well rounded Luigi Bosca Malbec Reserva 2007, Mendoza Malbec, 14% NOSE: A deep, crimson colour, with heady spice and blackberries on the nose FLAVOUR: Fairly intense with dark, black fruits on the palate peppered with spice, and those classic Malbec soft, sweet tannins Escorihuela Gascon Syrah 2008, Mendoza Syrah, 13.5% NOSE: Intense notes of red and black fruit with soft plum overtones FLAVOUR: This is a great Malbec, smooth and with a concentrated tanning in the mouth Malma Reserva Malbec 2005, Neuquen Malbec, 14% NOSE: This wine has luxurious aromas of ripe plum and blackberries which follow through on the palate and long after on the finish FLAVOUR: There are soft vanilla tannins reflecting 12 months spent in French and American oak Luigi Bosca - Gala 1 blend, Mendoza Petit Verdot Tannat, 14% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: A smooth and elegant red wine with aromas of ripe red fruit and delicate hints of vanilla A perfect blend of two grapes then aged for 14 months Escorihuela Gascon Presidents blend 2006, Mendoza Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, 13.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Complex and full bodied FLAVOUR: Rich and smooth with a velvety finish that lingers. Great for special occasions and suitable for all red meat dishes as well as chicken, pork and pasta SPANISH WINES WHITE WINE Parés Baltà Blanc de Pacs Organic 2010, Penedes Parellada, Xarel-lo, Macaebo. 12.5% BY THE BOTTLE: (125ml) / 4.25 (175ml) NOSE: Intense and powerful aromas, which reflect this wine s youth. The notes of ripe white fruit (pear, melon, apple) appear on an aromatic background of white flowers. A touch of herbs FLAVOUR: Fresh, dry and soft attack. Tasty and lightly glyceric midpalate, with nice notes of fruit on a mineral background. Good acidity. Good and pleasant finish. A fresh young wine, soft and easy to drink

3 Parés Baltà Calcari 2009, Penedes Xarel-lo, 12.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Remarkably elegant varietal nose that combines the most mature white fruit (pear) with tropical and citrus fruits. Mineral notes and creamy sensations provided by the fine lees FLAVOUR: Very fresh wine with a rich mid palate, with fruit notes typical of its variety. Creamy and light Afortunado Verdejo 2010, Rueda Verdejo, 12% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Good and intense aromas of fresh tropical fruits on a good herbal and floral background FLAVOUR: Very fresh wine with a soft and creamy palate and presence of very ripe fruits. Good acidity. Long finish with a pleasant hint of a subtle bitterness. A varietal wine Shaya Verdejo Viñas Viejas 2008, Rueda Verdejo, 13.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Clean and intense nose with aromas of the variety and white floral notes of green fruits such as apples. FLAVOUR: Elegant, fine, intense and oily with good acidity and a bitter end, characteristic of the variety Paco & Lola Albariño 2009, Rias Baixas Albarinio, 12.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Harmonious, intense and very expressive. With fine notes of fruit (citrus and green apple) on a floral background FLAVOUR: Fresh, large and tasty. Very good acidity. Presence of fruit (pineapple, green apple) with touches of citrus that lengthen the aftertaste V3 Viñas Viejas Verdejo 2008, Rueda Verdejo, 13% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Tropical fruits like mango and passion fruit. Aromas powerful and various FLAVOUR: Fresh, soft, elegant, with great persistence on the finish ROSÉ WINE Parés Baltà Ros de Pacs Organic 2009, Penedes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. 13.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Delicate and elegant aroma with notes of red fruits of the forest FLAVOUR: This wine is soft, brisk and fresh Gramona Rosat d Agulla 2008, Penedes Syrah, Merlot, 11% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: It is a wine of great aromatic intensity, with a predominance of red fruits FLAVOUR: It reminds us of fresh fruit in the forest, always with a clear accent and a well-integrated fruit weight. Intense aftertaste and pleasant acidity RED WINE Parés Baltà Mas Petit Organic 2008, Penedes Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnache Tinta 13.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Predominance of soft red fruits and toasted vanilla FLAVOUR: The palate is smooth and friendly, with velvety tannins; round. With ripe fruit notes and vanilla Perelada 3 Fincas Criança 2007, Emporda Garnacha, Cariniena, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, 14% BY THE BOTTLE: (125ml) / 4.95 (175ml) NOSE: Aroma of ripe fruit and delicate roasted notes derived from oak ageing FLAVOUR: The mouth is fleshy, while fluid and balanced. The tannins are fine and very mature. This wine has a good pass from mouth and a long aftertaste envelope Ochoa Mil Gracias Graciano 2006, Navarra Graciano, 13.5% 4.25 (125ml) / 6.75 (175ml) NOSE: The nose is the reductive nature of the variety Graciano, needs to breathe and be aerated so decanting is always a good option. As the wine begins to breathe, mineral notes appear, very ripe black fruit and white pepper. Very complex wine. FLAVOUR: The mouth is an explosion of aromas, combined with soft tannins and pleasant to drink that invites a second time Parés Baltà Mas Elena 2005, Penedes Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% 4.25 (125ml) / 6.75 (175ml) NOSE: Nose is a nice burst of fruit and good balance, soft notes of barrel ageing FLAVOUR: In the mouth it is elegant, fresh, meaty and structured Beronia Reserva 2005, Rioja Mazuela, Graciano, Tempranillo, 13.5% 4.50 (125ml) / 5.90 (175ml) NOSE: Elegant aromas of spices, cocoa, snuff, jam and ripe strawberries FLAVOUR: Medium bodied with good acidity, fresh, lively, with good fruit and a persistent finale

Highlights the ripe fruit notes 4.75 (125ml) / 6.75 (175ml) FLAVOUR: Meaty, structured and balsamic. Fresh acidity, silky tannins. Balanced, creamy, with a good step and long aftertaste Alión Reserva , Ribera del Duero Tinto Fino, 14.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: The aroma is revealed with an intensity that is rare in the wines of the Ribera del Duero Designation. There are nuances of roasted grapes and toasted wood FLAVOUR: The palate has concentrated tannins of black fruit combined with sweet tannins and creamy French oak. It is tasty, powerful, meaty, with a truly impressive display of hues Should a listed vintage be unavailable an alternative will be offered where appropriate La Planta 2009, Ribera del Duero Tempranillo, 13.8% NOSE: Fresh aromas with a high presence and expression of ripe black fruit accompanied by the notes provided during its short ageing, such as roasted, chocolate and smoked FLAVOUR: Powerful attack, with a very tasty mid palate, with perfectly balanced notes of fruit and toasted found in the nose, completed with a hint of milk. Correct acidity and integrated tannins. Long and lingering finish that leaves good souvenirs Perelada Finca La Garriga Samsó 2006, Emporda Samso, 16% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Floral aroma also reminded of ripe red fruits, very well combined with spicy notes of fine breeding FLAVOUR: It s fresh, round, balanced and very palatable. Rounded tannins and envelopes Perinet 2005, Priorat Carinena, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Garnacha tinta, Merlot, 14.5% BY THE BOTTLE: NOSE: Nose is delicate, complex and elegant. Stressing the notes of ripe red fruits, covered with mineral and spicy nuances FLAVOUR: Soft, gentle and elegant, with a grainy texture of the tannins that give a fine and sweet touch on the palate.
