2 Redbank Emily Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut Cuvée NV This delicate fruit driven wine is pale straw in colour with a persistent bead in the glass. A long creamy palate and subtle toast and yeast flavours combine brilliantly with the lemon-citrus aromas and underlying nuttiness of the Chardonnay. Emily is a wine to be enjoyed at any time and to celebrate any occasion. Emily is the life of any party! Mawson s The Vickers Chardonnay Fresh yet savoury with characters of preserved lemon and dried tropical fruits such as paw paw and papaya. The palate shows length and finishes clean and crisp Opawa Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Exotic perfumes leap from the glass with vivacious aromas of red currant, passionfruit skin, lemon and hints of jasmine. The palate is refreshing and intense, displaying ripe citrus, honeysuckle and passionfruit flavours, this wine is well balanced and focused with crisp acidity and a long, juicy, mouth-watering finish. Bleasdale Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris Hand picked and whole bunch pressed. This wine was fermented in a combination of tank and seasoned French oak, before early bottling to retain the fresh pear and spice aroma. Complemented by the texture and complexity from lees stirring and a small component of oak maturation.

4 Redbank The Long Paddock Merlot Redbank The Long Paddock Merlot is rich dark red in colour with vibrant hues. It has a lifted fruit driven nose, with blood plums, mulberry, chocolate, spice and toasted oak. The palate is soft fine grained, with ripe supple fruits, blood plums, blackberry jubes and some aniseed spice notes. A soft finish with spice and rich integrated oak. Yalumba Galway Vintage Barossa Shiraz Deep in colour with scarlet hues and aromas of black fruits, liquorice allsorts and cinnamon spice. The palate is lush and rich with flavours of ripe berries and cocoa powder tannins that give evenness and generosity to the wine. Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot The wine enters the palate voluptuous and soft with some lovely, chalky mid to late palate tannins that, whilst firm, are more than approachable. The palate centre explodes with tangy red fruits, dried herbs and a fresh acid structure. The palate draws to a savoury finish with fine, dry tannins and a lingering flavour of cedar, mocha and dark cherry fruit. Seppeltsfield Grand Tokay With a palate of great intensity, this wine shows luscious sweet tea leaf, caramel and butterscotch characters. Quality fortification spirit is evident, complemented by fine natural acid balance.

6 Jansz Tasmania Premium Cuvée Honeysuckle and citrus scents are immediately apparent with slight aromas of nougat, roasted nuts and a hint of strawberry from the Pinot Noir. A well-balanced palate of delicate fruits and creaminess fills the mouth with a lingering finish of citrus and nougat. Hill-Smith Estate Adelaide Hills Chardonnay Lifted aromas of fresh nectarine and citrus zest overlaid with subtle notes of struck flint and roasted nuts. The palate is elegant with a restrained creaminess and flavours of white peach, zest of lemon and hazelnut praline. An underlying mineral acidity, the hallmark of Adelaide Hills Chardonnay, leads the palate to a long and refined finish. Heathcote Winery Curagee Shiraz Brilliant crimson red in colour. Perfumed aromas, bright berry fruits, medicinal notes with nuances of the delicate French oak evident. Silky smooth with elegance, complexity and length of flavour. The tannins are integrated and round. Bright berry fruits, medicinal notes, ripe juicy plums and oak flavours dominate. Jim Barry First XI Cabernet Sauvignon The wine is a vibrant deep crimson colour, with characteristic Cabernet aromas of cassis, cigar box and cedar. The palate is rich and elegant, dominated by black olives, nutmeg and allspice. The tannins are finely grained, and the wine ends with a lingering liquorice, black cherry finish. Brokenwood Graveyard Shiraz Excellent mid to deep colour with bright purple tints on the rim. The result of a cooler year but Hunter reds are never really black in colour. Strong lifted fruit aromas of red cherry and sweet earthy. Lively red fruit characters supported by fine grained tannins from both the fruit and oak. A long finish and seamless structure giving what the late Len Evans called line and length.
