Malolactic fermentation in steel. The wine matures in French oak casks of a capacity of hectolitres for 12 months.

Giacomo/Leiten (province of Bolzano) Vineyard extension (hectares): 1 Blend: 85% Schiava - 15% Lagrein and Pinot Noir Vineyard age (year of planting): Schiava 1969, Lagrein and Pinot Noir 1969,1989 Soil Type: sandy, porphyric Altitude: 360 meters above sea level Colour: Light and bright ruby red Nose: Fruity and intense with fresh notes of underbrush berries, hard black cherry and violet. Flavour: Round and well balanced Serving temperature ( C): Match with: Hors d oeuvres, speck, cured meat, white roast or grilled meat, mild cheese, also with elaborate fish dishes Average no. bottles/year: 8,000 Vinification and ageing: Alcoholic and malo-lactic fermentation in steel. The wine matures in steel for approximately 6 months.

3 Alto Adige Chardonnay Appellation: ALTO ADIGE CHARDONNAY DOC Vineyard extension (hectares): 0.5 Blend: 100% Chardonnay Vineyard age (year of planting): Chardonnay 1965,1985 Soil Type: porphyric, sandy, clayey Altitude: meters above sea level Colour: Straw yellow with light green reflections Nose: Delicate and fruity, typical of the variety, tropical fruit and ripe pear notes Flavour: Full-bodied, the acidity is fresh and lively, the finish has a good persistence Serving temperature ( C): 8-12 Match with: As an aperitif, light appetizers, fish, shellfish, poultry Average no. bottles/year: 3,000 Vinification and ageing: Alcoholic fermentation with temperature control in steel vats, the wine then matures on the lees for four months in steel. 4 Alto Adige Pinot Nero Appellation: ALTO ADIGE PINOT NERO DOC Vineyard extension (hectares): 1.4 Blend: 100% Pinot nero Vineyard age (year of planting): Pinot nero 1965,2005 Soil Type: n/a Altitude: Colour: Ruby red Nose: Underbrush berries, violets, spices. Flavour: Full in the mouth, noble and evident tannins. Supple and persistent finish with spicy notes found in the nose. Serving temperature ( C): Match with: Red and white meat dishes. Cheese Average no. bottles/year: 5,000 Grape yield per hectare tons: 8 Vinification and ageing: Alcoholic fermentation with pumping over of the must for 5 days followed by a maceration with the skins for days. Malo-lactic fermentation in steel. The wine matures in French oak casks of a capacity of hectolitres for approximately 18 months. The wine was bottled in January 2014.

5 Alto Adige Sauvignon Appellation: ALTO ADIGE SAUVIGNON DOC Vineyard extension (hectares): 0.8 Blend: 100% Sauvignon Blanc Vineyard age (year of planting): Sauvignon Blanc 2004 Soil Type: porphyric, sandy, clayey Altitude: 500 Colour: Yellow with greenish reflections Nose: Intense, aromatic, typical of the variety, with notes of blackcurrant, nettles and litchi Flavour: Mineral and slightly acidulous. Fresh, sapid with a good aromatic persistence in the moutht Serving temperature ( C): 8-12 Match with: As an aperitif with light hors d oeuvres, dishes with asparagus Average no. bottles/year: 4,000 Grape yield per hectare tons: 9 Vinification and ageing: Brief maceration with the skins before pressing.
