13 Some were concerned with: Rust Mites Short shoots Establishment of cordons and spurs Selling fruit from spur pruned vines All were concerned with: Industry perception of spur pruning Growers who successfully manage spur pruned Pinot Noir all report: managing the vines the same as with a cane-pruned vineyard increased efficiency and reduced production costs 13
