5 Dining Our signature restaurant, Flavours, has an elegant and welcoming ambience and promises to offer guests and visitors authentic, contemporary Cape cuisine in a picturesque setting. Flavours is about bringing people together and celebrating the good things in life. The stylishly decorated Cedarwood Whisky Lounge with comfortable leather couches has become a much coveted and ever popular meeting place. It is home to one of the most definitive collections of single malt whiskies in South Africa. The Vineyard Terrace, which is the ideal spot for light and lazy lunches, wood-fired pizza s; and a range of tasting food pairing options, offering breathtaking views of the hotel s very own SylvanVale Vineyards and the Helderberg in the distance.

6 Summer Serenades Kickstart the weekend with Summer Serenades on the Vineyard Terrace! Some of the themes include Gin & Jazz, Biltong & Bier, Seafood & Saffron and Whisky & Wild Mushrooms. Every Friday celebrates the theme with a few special menu items paired with a special drink. Local artists also offer entertainment from 18:00 until 21:00 and paired with the food and gorgeous view, the Vineyard Terrace is the place to be on a Friday. For the not-so-adventurous-eater the standard Terrace menu will also be served with options to please any palate - wood-fired pizzas, summer salads, gourmet salads, burgers and many more.

7 Tastings & Pairings The Devon Valley Hotel is surrounded by its own working SylvanVale Vineyards that produce handmade boutique style wines that are only available for sale to guests to the property. Gourmet Food and SylvanVale wine pairing are available all year round either in Flavours Restaurant or on a smaller sample tasting scale of Flavours food canapés and a flight of three SylvanVale wines. Enjoy a selection of gourmet tastings on the Vineyard Terrace or in the Cedarwood Whisky Lounge. Choose between a SylvanVale Wine tasting, Single Malt Scotch Whisky tasting or Indigenous Gin tasting, paired with gourmet canapes to tantalise the taste buds. It includes five tasting experiences of boutique vineyards Middelvlei, Clos Malverne and SylvanVale, and the worldrenowned sparkling wine House of J.C. le Roux, plus Stellenbosch s first craft beer brewery, Stellenbrau. Devon Valley is one of Stellenbosch s best-kept secrets. It meanders scenically through farmlands and vineyards, leading you to some of the finest wine, craft beer and Méthode Cap Classique tastings as well as culinary experiences the Winelands has to offer.
