Built in the 1900 s it has more than a hundred years of history. It was completely remodeled and decorated in an elegant and sophisticated colonial style, to offer an excellent personalized service. During your stay, visitors can enjoy our Tours and Excursions, discover unique landscapes, rich in native flora and fauna, as well as learn about our organic and biodynamic agriculture in our guided Matetic wines Tastings. Fees exempt from VAT for foreign guests, non-residents in Chile. Foreign guests, non-residents, must present their passport and Tourism Card upon check-in. Rates are subject to changes without previous notice. Low season rates apply from May 1st to September 15th, High season rates apply from January 1st to April 30th and from September 16th to December 31st, Children up to 4 years of age sharing with its parents are free of charge (One free child per room). Children between 5 and 10 years of age, sleeping in an additional bed and sharing with their parents, are charged as child rate. Maximum one child rate per room. Families that require two rooms, providing all the kids are under 10 years of age, can be accommodated in a second room but one of the kids must pay an adult rate based on double occupancy. Additional beds for children from 11 years upwards are available subject to availability (bed size: 90cmsx2mt / 39 Wx75 L). New Year program: between December 30th, 2018, and January 01, 2019, only a 2 nights Full Board programs are available for booking. La Casona will remain closed for Christmas from the midday on December 24th until the morning of December 26th. There will be no tours or tasting in the Wine Cellar on the following dates: January 1 / Closed May 1 ( Closed September 18 and 19 / Closed December 8 / Closed December 24, 25 and 31 / Open until hrs. Equilibrio s Restaurant is closed on Mondays, therefore lunch is served in our informal restaurant, shop & wine bar, El Emporio. Optional private transfer services are available upon request. Prices are not included in the rates for La Casona programs. Excursions are subject to changes according to weather conditions and availability. Excursions will be organized and confirmed upon arrival. Cable TV in all rooms. Complimentary Wi-Fi in the living room. Outdoor swimming pool for the exclusive use of La Casona guests. BOOKING AND MODIFICATION CONDITIONS Reservations must be requested in writing to: Once a reservation is received in writing we will provide a booking confirmation number. A booking is confirmed only when you have received a written confirmation. For all bookings we require the following information from each guest before arrival: Name Date of birth Nationality Passport number Transfer IN / OUT (if required) Dietary restrictions (if applicable) For all groups we require this information 30 days before arrival. Changes to confirmed reservations are subject to availability and must be requested in writing to reservas@mateticwg.com. Any changes will be confirmed over . Date modifications for individual bookings (up to 2 rooms) can undergo a maximum of 3 changes providing the date change is within the same year. These modifications must be notified minimum 30 days before check in and are subject to availability. Date modifications for groups (3 rooms or more) can undergo a maximum of 3 changes providing the date change is within the same year. These modifications must be notified minimum 60 days before the original check in and confirmations are subject to availability. PAYMENT CONDITIONS INDIVIDUALS (UP TO 2 ROOMS) 30% of the total booking cost must be paid within 5 working days after receiving the written confirmation. GROUPS (STARTING FROM 3 ROOMS) 30% of the total booking cost must be paid within 5 working days after receiving the written confirmation. The balance of 70% must be paid 30 days prior to the check in. The balance of 70% must be paid 60 days prior to the check in. When booking within 30 days prior to check in, the reservation must be paid in full within 5 working days after receiving the written confirmation.
