2 Proprietors Choice Wines We have selected this range mainly from two producers; Calmel & Joseph and Longwines. Calmel & Joseph produce Domaine Bergon in the -Roussillon region of. High quality and consistent wines from beautiful Mediterranean terroirs of private wineries. Longwines are a small, talented and independent team dedicated to creating and sourcing distinctive, award-winning Spanish wines. On the nose it is aromatic and complex with aromas of blackberries, black currants and toasty aromas. 15 Côtes du Rhône, Victor Berard Rhone A consistently good Cotes du Rhone, layers of blackberry and blueberry fruits with delicate spice and an elegant finish.(c) 16 Chateau Lavison, Yvon Mau, Claret Bordeaux An elegant nose blending plum and berry fruit, a well structured medium to full bodied Bordeaux with good fruit intensity showing on the palate.(d) 17 Château Tour St Bonnet, Médoc Bordeaux Sublimely smooth Médoc with a fine balance of deep fruit, spice and mineral characteristics. Aged for 18 months in large oak foudres or oak vats. Drinking well now and for the next 3 to 4 years. (d) 18 Château de Melin, Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune (Pinot Noir) Burgundy Since the French Revolution, six generations of family winemakers have continued in succession at this fabulous Château, charming aromas, this red dances in the glass with strawberry fruit and fine, tannins.
