The Nebbiolo biotype is the ancient Michet that has low production and small compact clusters with a high concentration of polyphenols. Vinification and ageing: The harvest takes place at the beginning of October. Fermentation and maceration with the skins for 10 days. The wine matures in large oak casks (capacity hectolitres) for 2 years

2 Barbera d Asti 5 Vignés Appellation: BARBERA D ASTI DOCG Zone: Montegrosso d Asti and Costigliole Vineyard extension (hectares): 3.5 Blend: 100% Barbera Vineyard age (year of planting): Barbera 1954 Soil Type: The soil varies from sandy to calcareous Exposure: Various Altitude: n/a Colour: Intense ruby red Nose: Ethereal, supple, with sweet notes of black and red cherry, underbrush berries, slight tones of cocoa beans and of tobacco in the finish Flavour: Fresh and velvety, very delicate acidity, complex, elegant, pleasant to drink Serving temperature ( C): Match with: Pasta dishes and cheese Average no. bottles/year: 2,000 Grape yield per hectare tons: 6 Notes: The wine is produced from 5 different vineyards with different exposure and different types of soil from sandy to calcareous. The age of the vines is approx. 60 years. Clover and other grasses are sown on the aisles between the rows of vines, only bordelaise poultice is sprayed. Vinification and ageing: The harvest takes place at the end of September. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration with the skins for approx days (30% in large oak casks, the rest in steel). The wines from the 5 different vineyards are then blended. Many vines are ungrafted as they resisted to phylloxera. Vinification and ageing: Brief maceration on the skins in steel vats, maturation in oak barriques for 18 months

5 Chardonnay Langhe Appellation: LANGHE CHARDONNAY DOC Zone: Castiglione Tinella Vineyard extension (hectares): 1 Blend: 100% Chardonnay Vineyard age (year of planting): Chardonnay 1989 Soil Type: n/a Exposure: n/a Altitude: 280 meters above sea level Colour: straw yellow with green reflections Nose: Intense, tropical fruit, acacia flowers. During finishing in the bottle more complex and warm aromatics develop, such as slight notes of sweet spices and fruit in syrup Flavour: Rich in aromatics, fresh, mineral in the aftertaste Serving temperature ( C): Match with: n/a Average no. bottles/year: 5,000 Grape yield per hectare tons: 6.5 Notes: Vine training system: guyot. Vinification and ageing: Fermentation in steel tanks on the lees for five months. Approximately 20% of the wine ferments and is matured in barriques with bâtonnage for eight months.

6 Langhe Rosso L Insieme Appellation: LANGHE ROSSO DOC Zone: Langhe and Monferrato Vineyard extension (hectares): 0.2 Blend: 40% Barbera - 40% Nebbiolo - 20% Syrah Vineyard age (year of planting): Barbera - Nebbiolo - Syrah Soil Type: Calcarous-clayey Exposure: West Altitude: n/a Colour: Very intense garnet red Nose: Warm with ripe berry and black fruit notes, such as blackberries and black cherries, licorice and chocolate tones in the finish Flavour: Ample, velvety and persistent Serving temperature ( C): 16 Match with: Game, cheese Average no. bottles/year: 1,000 Alcohol %: 14.5 Grape yield per hectare tons: 4 Notes: Starting with the 2004 vintage this wine was classified as Langhe Rosso DOC. This wine is part of a project, together with other seven estates, to provide humanitarian aid and to finance programs in the agricultural sector. Vinification and ageing: Each varietal is vinified separately with micro-vinifications. Maceration on the skins for approx. 5 days. Maturation in barriques.

Fine perlage Nose: Fragrant and fresh, with orange flower notes. Litchi, gardenia and aromatic herbs such as melissa Flavour: Fresh, sapid, with an aftertaste of mint and of sage. Grape juice. Serving temperature ( C): 8-10 Match with: biscuits with hazel nuts, classical Torta di Langa.
