SIDE Quinoa salad and green beans SERVES ONE COLD RECIPE INGREDIENTS INSTRUCTIONS 2 ROCK & ROLL 2 slices of smoked salmon 3 tablespoons of fresh cheese spread 1 pinch of Madras curry 1 chopped radish 4 thin slices of Granny Smith apple 4 thin slices of peeled cucumber Rocket leaves 2 thin slices of red onion Drizzle of balsamic vinegar Fresh chives and dill Alfalfa shoots Butter Freshly ground black pepper Toast the sides of the roll on a griddle or in a frying pan with a knob of butter. Slice in two and toast the inside. Cut the salmon into thin slices. Beat the chopped radish, a pinch of curry powder and freshly ground black pepper into the cheese. Spread half of this mixture on the inside of the roll. Arrange the apple, cucumber slices, red onion, salmon tartare and rocket leaves inside the roll. Top with the remaining cream cheese, sprinkle with the alfalfa shoots, and add the chives and chopped dill. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve immediately. ROLLING STONE Beef burger with caramelised onion, smoked San Simon cheese and black beer sauce INGREDIENTS 2 ROCK & ROLL joined together and cut in half. A square hamburger! INSTRUCTIONS SIDE Fries with garlic, rosemary and cheese sauce SERVES ONE HOT RECIPE toppings Caramelised onion: Brown the onions in oil over a very low heat for 20 minutes, stirring often. Add sugar and vinegar, cook for another five minutes, and set aside. Beer sauce: Process the onion and chopped garlic with the beer, Worcestershire sauce and oil. Season and set aside. 2 ROCK & ROLL 2 x 125 g beefburger 2 thin slices of bacon 50 g of smoked San Simón cheese 3 thin slices of tomato 1 thinly sliced gherkin Iceberg lettuce, in julienne strips 1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise Mix the minced beef with half the beer sauce and shape into a burger. Take two rolls joined together and slice into squares, brown for a few seconds on a hot griddle with a few drops of oil and toast for one minute under the grill. Grill the burger for 2 minutes on each side. When half cooked, season with salt and pepper and top with half of the cubed cheese. Cook the bacon until crisp. Mix the remaining beer with the barbecue sauces and spread inside the roll.add the tomato slices, the hot burger, the bacon, the remaining cheese cubes, the caramelised onion, lettuce strips and gherkins. BURNING LOVE Sausage in spicy beetroot sauce with Cheddar cheese and green peppers INGREDIENTS 3 ROCK & ROLL 1 long frankfurter sausage (or chistorra, bockwurst, North African, or pikanwurst sausage...) 2 slices of Cheddar cheese 3 thin slices of tomato 1 green pepper 1 garlic clove 1 tablespoon of beetroot cut into sticks Lettuce leaves 1 tablespoon dried fried onion 1 tablespoon mustard 1 tablespoon mayonnaise 1 tablespoon ketchup A few drops of Tabasco ROCK & ROLL Double trio sliced crosswise. Fill from above! INSTRUCTIONS SIDE Battered, fried onion rings SERVES ONE SPICY RECIPE Cut lengthways through three rolls to create a three-part roll (see types of cut).slice in two and toast the sides and inside on a griddle with oil. Cook for a few minutes under the grill until crunchy. Cook the sausage on a hot grill. Slice the green pepper into strips and grill or fry in a pan with oil and a peeled garlic clove for five minutes, stirring frequently. Arrange the pepper slices inside the roll, add the tomato slices, Cheddar cheese and beetroot cut into very thin strips. Add the salad leaves and season with Burning Love sauce, mustard mayonnaise and spicy ketchup. SIDE Corn tortillas SERVES ONE SPICY RECIPE INGREDIENTS INSTRUCTIONS 2 ROCK & ROLL 1 chicken breast sliced thinly 1 egg 1 tablespoons of panko or breadcrumbs 2 slices of cheese for melting 1 tomato 1 tablespoon sweetcorn 1 jalapeño chilli 1/2 tomato and 1/4 onion 3 gherkins A few coriander leaves Tortilla chips 1 tablespoon of Caesar sauce Trocadero lettuce leaves Olive oil Cut the chicken into thin slices, dip in egg and panko and fry in plenty of hot oil in a frying pan. Slice the roll and brown in a frying pan or on a hot grill on the sides and inside.heat for a few moments under the grill. Cut the tomatoes, onion and gherkins into cubes. Add the sweetcorn and dress with Caesar sauce. Fill the roll with the guacamole, cheese slices, breaded chicken fillets, lettuce leaves and tomato, onion, and gherkin mixture. Slice and add the jalapeños, parsley and coriander and crunchy crumbled tortilla chips. Season with cilantro mayonnaise and classic mayonnaise, and serve immediately.
