Our events team will work closely with you to develop the perfect, bespoke menu for your occasion. Rest assured the menu at every event that we cater for is unique, tailored to your likes and desires. But here are a few ideas to get you thinking and your taste buds tingling. A B D C Pixies Canapés on arrival followed by a 5 course menu using the most exquisite local ingredients and prepared by our highly skilled team of chefs. Includes an appetiser, starter, palate cleanser, main course, cheese board and dessert. Concludes with coffee and petit fours. 50 per head. Pearl Jam Canapés on arrival followed by a 3 course meal using the best locally sourced and seasonal produce. Concludes with cheese boards, coffee and petit fours. 40 per head. Portishead Canapés on arrival followed by a 3 course meal using fresh, homemade ingredients. Concludes with coffee and petit fours. 30 per head. Hire Fees & terms and conditions The function room is available free of charge on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for any event provided there are 15 people or more, subject to availability. However, we do expect guests to order some items from the bar. On Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there is a 150 hire fee for the function room unless the guests order a buffet or meal for a minimum of 15 people. The hire fee for the whole pub on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday is 5,000. This gives you exclusive use of the pub and garden, which you can decorate as you wish. As an extra bonus I would be happy to throw in all 6 of our en suite rooms, bed & breakfast, free of charge on the wedding night. They are all double rooms, 1 of which can be made into a twin/family room for 3 and 1 which can be made into a twin /family room for 4. Welcome Drinks Kick off your event with champagne, bucks fizz or prosecco. Prices start at 6 per head. Add canapés, the perfect accompaniment to a drinks reception, starting from 5 per head. The function room comfortably seats 35 people. However, we can remove furniture if you prefer, so there is space for dancing. We often do this after food and speeches are finished. Capacity with no furniture is approximately 60 people, although you are welcome to spill out into the rest of the pub and garden. If you wish to hire a DJ please note that they would be required to finish at 11pm as we have B&B guests staying above the function room and neighbours close by. Alternatively you can create your own playlist on an ipod/mp3 player and plug into our speakers. Last orders at the bar are 11.45pm and we close at midnight. 5
