Ordinance No 166 by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 30 May 2002 On Approval of the Nomenclature of the Basic Quarantine Products, subject to Phytosanitary Control under Plants Quarantine For the purposes of implementation of Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Plants Quarantine" dated February 11 th 1999 and Government Resolution No. 1716 as of November 16 th 1999 "On Approval of the Protocol for Standard Procedures for Application of Technical, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Sanitary, Veterinary, Phytosanitary and Ecological Standards, Norms, Regulations and Requirements concerning the Goods Imported into the Member-Countries of Treaties on Customs Alliance", hereby I order: 1. Approve the attached Nomenclature as the basic nomenclature for under-quarantine products, subject to phytosanitary control of plants (hereinafter referred to as the Nomenclature). 2. Department of protection and quarantine of plants (S. Khasenov), heads of oblast level, Astana and Almaty cities level territorial departments of the Ministry of Agriculture, in accordance with legally established procedures: 1) to organize in oblasts, regions and cities the appropriate phytosanitary control on quarantine of plants with respect to imported and exported under-quarantine products in accordance with the approved Nomenclature; 2) to adopt any other measures resulting from this law. 3. This law shall take force from the date of state registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Minister A.
