SAINT GREGORY S FOOD PANTRY Dear School Families, November, 2018 Many thanks for the cereal and breakfast donations sent in during October. We were able to donate many pounds of food to Saint Gregory s Food Pantry. Special BIG thank you to Mrs. Elliott for delivering all of the food. During November, we are collecting food for Thanksgiving dinner. We re asking each student to contribute an item to the collection box placed in his/her homeroom. Any canned or packaged non-perishable food item is appreciated. Some non-food items are also needed. Listed below are some suggestions. Every donation is gratefully accepted up until November 13th. Thank you for your cooperation and support in this endeavor to help our children to be aware of others needs. Sincerely, Mrs. Scotto MILK: Powdered milk, infant formula JUICES: cans of fruit juices PROTEIN: Cans of tuna, chicken, ham, stew corned beef hash, peanut butter VEGETABLES: Cans of green beans, peas, corn, spinach, carrots, potatoes, yams, tomatoes, tomato sauce CEREALS: Packages of oatmeal, dry cereal STARCHES: Rice, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, packaged dinners, beans LUNCH FOOD: Peanut butter, jelly, soup cans of ravioli, macaroni, spaghetti, OTHER ITEMS: Coffee, tea, flour, sugar, muffin mixes, low sugar and low salt foods FRUIT: Canned and dried fruit, raisins unsweetened fruits NON-FOOD ITEMS: Soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, can openers BABY ITEMS: Baby foods, baby cereals, detergent, can openers disposable diapers

Please DO NOT Wear Low cut shirts, low cut jeans, ripped jeans sandals, graphic sayings, skin showing, spaghetti straps, tight outfits.

St. Peter School is beginning to collect photos of our family of veterans for our Veterans Day Celebration. If you would like to share a photo of your veteran please send to Mrs. McDonnell along with the form below. Additionally, the photo can be e-mailed along with the corresponding information to lmcdonnell@stpschool.org. If your photo was included in our presentation last year it has been saved and will be included each year, there is no need to send in the photograph again. Please do not send in a photo that cannot be replaced, a digital print or copy should be sent. Your photo will be handled with the utmost care and every attempt to return it in the original condition will be taken but accidents can happen so please do not send in a treasured photo. To have your photo included in our celebration all photos must be submitted by Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Photographs received after November 13, will not be included in the presentation. Dear Saint Peter Family, We are having our annual Veterans Day celebration. If you or a family member is a veteran please join us on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 9:30am in the school gym. We will be having a prayer service and a few patriotic songs presented by the students of St. Peter School. Refreshments will be served.
