WELCOME Bernardi s opened in September 2015 and is an 80 cover restaurant & bar which occupies a beautiful corner site in Portman Village, Marylebone. Set over two levels, the ground floor restaurant features an open kitchen and dining bar. Downstairs at Bernardi s was re-launched early June as The Dog House, a cocktail bar and private dining room with a distinct, sophisticated, intimate look and feel, a complete contrast to the light, airy feel of the main dining room upstairs. The space doubles up as a cool bar and an area for private functions and events. Head chef Sabrina Gidda (two-time Roux Scholarship finalist) oversees the kitchen and the menu centres around light, simple yet elegant Italian cooking, with a focus on the best seasonal produce from the UK and Italy. Menu Style: Simple, modern Italian Menus & Pricing: A la carte starters range from 6-10, mains 16-22, desserts 6-8.5 Capacity: Ground floor restaurant - 80 pax / Lower ground Bar - 40pax seated, 80 standing. Bar - Lower ground floor has a 40 cover cocktail bar where we serve the full menu. No bookings (apart from the snug) open every day from late afternoon. Drinks: Exclusively Italian wine list numbering around 120 bins. House wine 23. House Prosecco 38 / champagne 78. We have regularly changing wine specials. Italian-inspired cocktail menu (range 7.50-14) and bar offer centring around Italian vermouths, bitters & Negronis. Modern twists on Italian classics, homemade infusions, artisan British brands Private Dining: The bar is also the perfect space for private parties. Our large open space features its own fully stocked bar, views into our working kitchen and access to a garden courtyard during the warmer months. Children: We welcome children, no set children s menu but as we make everything to order we are more than happy to amend for children. High-chairs (and colouring!) available Dogs: We allow well-behaved dogs that do not cause a disruption to other diners. This is primarily for the benefit of our local residents and therefore not something we will overtly advertise, but if requested, the answer is yes! Dietary Requests: We have vegetarian options available, as well as gluten & diary free. The chef is happy to accommodate dietary requirements. As we make everything in house and from scratch, we can easily adapt existing dishes to take into account dietary requirements. We have full information on all allergens but we can ever guarantee that food is free of trace of these allergens.
