GRAND PRODUCTIONS LIMITED PRODUCT QUALITY CONTROLS Raw materials through to finished product, samples taken, amount retained and tests done on end of shelf life. CCP 1 - Intake of raw materials product should be delivered with certificate of conformance. Product is checked against the specification from the supplier to ensure it conforms to what has been stated. Ie temperature, packaging etc. Weight controls, minimum weight, is the product e marked? Is the T1 T2 system used and what the parameters are. Average weight system, information available on site. Product does not have a weight stated, as it is a handmade product. Metal detection, Ferrous search sensitivity, Non ferrous search sensitivity. Any foreign body detectors? CCP6 2.0mm Ferrous and 2.5mm non-ferrous. Check carried out every hour with test strips. NUT POLICY STATEMENT As a bakery Grand Productions Ltd do not exclude nuts from production, however due to the growing concerns relating to Peanuts as a company we no longer allow peanut on site and have removed any ingredients which may contain peanuts or peanut derivatives. Although we do not have peanuts as an ingredient we do allow other types of nuts for example Brazil Nuts, Pecan Nuts, Walnuts, Hazel Nuts. To reduce the risk of cross contamination to products not containing nuts we follow strict procedures of which are outlined below. Nut products are produced at the end of the day where possible to reduce risk of contamination. The Production Area has a detailed general clean down at the end of the day s production. To add to this if nut products are produced there are extra clean down responsibilities. Nuts and nut products are stored separate wherever possible. There are separate allocated areas for nuts within the factory. Plastic aprons are worn to protect the operatives clothing when working with nuts. Nuts and nut products undergo minimal handling. It is our aim that no nuts or nut products contaminate products, which do not contain nuts as an ingredient. In the unlikely event of an incident occurring the affected product is quarantined and disposed of immediately.
