Experiment with taste Let the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans set the scene and enjoy a well-brewed cup of coffee hot or as a chilled ingredient in your drink. Create your favourite cocktail with the Collar shaker. Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri founded their own design studio in 2010. A continuous dialogue encouraged by cultural and behavioural observations leads the Italian design duo to create beautiful and functional design objects.
Iconic around the world To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the EM77 vacuum jug, it is being launched in an elegant finish that echoes back to the classic steel version and reaches into the future. The colour range of the special edition is matt, metallic black, dark brown and dark blue. Erik Magnussen trained as a ceramist at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Copenhagen and graduated with a silver medal in 1960. He designed his iconic vacuum jug in 1977, combining the perfect classic cylindrical form with outstanding functionality.
It s tea time Preserve tea at its best. The well-known shape of the EM77 now conceals a new functionality a press tea maker that stops the brewing in the jug. Green, black or white? Weak or strong? You decide; the tea stays hot and just the way you like it.
Twinkling lights Be inspired by the dark skies and bright stars and light up the room with Unified candleholders. The light will be reflected in the curved metal surface between the white enamel contours. The combination of materials beautifully underlines the design. Maria Berntsen is a Danish architect and industrial designer. She trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Archi tecture in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she now has her own design studio.
Good memories Do you remember that special place where the sweets were kept safe? Lifting the sculptural lid of Peak creates that same sensation of revealing a treasure. Mikaela Dörfel and her team work out of her office north of Hamburg, Germany. Originally from Finland, much of her inspiration comes from the Scandinavian design tradition and nature. Her work is always highly individual, with timeless elegance.
Just relax Prepare a tray with a refreshing drink and your favourite snack and enjoy a break. With its characteristic organic shape and combination of materials, the Emma collection, which also includes tea and coffee vacuum jugs, electric kettles, and tableware, fits into every home. Sebastian Holmbäck and Ulrik Nordentoft both studied at the Danish Design School. They went on to join forces and design the Emma series. Their common ground, and the basis for all their work, is aesthetics.
