Leaflets are strongly revolute (curved downward along the edges), and end in a spine-like tip.... Cycas revoluta 3. Leaflets are flat, or slightly revolute, and lack a spine-like tip.... Zamia integrifolia 1. Leaves are needle-like or scale-like, and simple. 4. Leaves are all needle-like (either evenly narrow or broader near the base and tapering to the tip). 5. Needles are attached in clusters of 10 or more at the end of short shoots (stubby side branches); needles on long shoots are attached singly. 6. Needles on short shoots are 2.5 5.0 cm.
