Accommodation and Location The Yeovil Court Hotel has 30 ensuite bedrooms for you and all your guests to stay. Located just a few miles from the main A30 and one hour from Bristol and Exeter airport, we are within easy access from major cities, easy to find and have an onsite complimentary car park. You and your partner will receive a complimentary room on the night of your wedding and your guests will benefit from a preferred accommodation rate. Please speak to your Wedding Coordinator for more details. Our check in time is from 1pm and check out is before 11am. Whilst we endeavour to have rooms ready before our check-in time we cannot promise an early check-in. The Bride and Groom may wish to prebook their suite the night before to deliver their honeymoon luggage before the wedding. Alternatively luggage may be left at Reception for delivery to your room once it has been fully serviced. Terms and Conditions Bookings at the Yeovil Court Hotel are accepted subject to agreement of the following terms and conditions: Booking Once a suitable date has been agreed with the Yeovil Court Hotel a provisional booking can be made. The agreed booking will be held for 14 days, after which time the date will be released. To confirm the booking within this 14 day period we require a letter of confirmation or a signed copy of these terms and conditions along with a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of 100.00. Exclusive use/room hire: Room hire fee will guarantee exclusive use of restaurant and function room. Unless an exclusive use of all hotel ground has being discussed and guaranteed, other guests staying at the hotel will have the right to use bar facilities and Gardens. Deposits and Payments An initial deposit from 100.00 is payable within 14 days of the provisional booking. 50% of A final balance will be payable for the estimated cost of the event. A pro-forma Invoice for this estimated cost will be issued 9 weeks prior to the event and this is payable within 7 days. Any outstanding amount is payable up to one day after the event. Number of Guests We can hold up to 80 guests seated and 150 for buffet style. The number of people attending the event cannot exceed this number. The final number of guests must be confirmed to us at least 14 days prior to your wedding. Please note that you will be charged accordingly to these final numbers even if your numbers drop below your given figure. Cancellation Policy Please note that in the event of the wedding cancelling any deposit to the Yeovil Court Hotel will be non-refundable, however in certain circumstances and by the discretion of the Management of the Yeovil Court Hotel a deposit may be deferred in order to secure an event of an alternative date. Cancellation fees as follow: Over 90 days prior to date of event: No additional charge other than deposit retained 30 89 days prior to the date of the event: 10% of total anticipated costs 29 7 days prior to the date of the event: 50% of total anticipated costs Within less than 7 days: 90% of total anticipated costs 10
The Yeovil Court Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking if: Any part of the Yeovil Court Hotel is closed or otherwise unavailable due to circumstances outside the Yeovil Court Hotel s control. Either party becomes insolvent, or in the case of an individual, becomes subject to a bankruptcy petition. The booking may damage the reputation of the Yeovil Court Hotel. In these circumstances you are entitled to a refund of any advance payment, but the Yeovil Court Hotel would not have any other liability. Damage and Loss Whilst you and your guests are at the Yeovil Court Hotel we kindly ask that you make every effort to safeguard the fixtures and fittings. You as the client will be held responsible to the Yeovil Court Hotel for any damage caused by the client, or their guests, agents, employees etc and indemnity against Third Parties as a result of negligence and costs will be passed on to you for payment accordingly. The Yeovil Court Hotel cannot accept liability for loss or damage to you or your guests property. Miscellaneous No foods, wines or spirits may be brought into our facility by clients or guests for consumption on the premises without prior permission from the Management at the Yeovil Court Hotel. Outdoor games and activities Due to Insurance and Health and Safety Legislation outdoors activities and fireworks are not permitted. Any entertainment must cease by 12 midnight, and the bar will also close at midnight with no further drinks being served. In exceptional circumstances the Yeovil Court Hotel reserves the right to halt any entertainment before 12 midnight.
