Payment Details Guarantee Guest Attendance The guaranteed number of guests attending your function is required 5 business days in advance (including set up details). The Club will charge for the minimum number of guests guaranteed or the actual number of guests in attendance, whichever is greater. Deposit & Payment Structure At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit equitable to the room rental is required to confirm the reservation. For Mississaugua Golf & Country Club members, all charges shall be applied to the Member s account and the Member guarantees payment of the account. For sponsored functions, 50% of the estimated total is due 6 months prior to the function. The remaining balance of the estimated total is due no later than 5 business days prior to the function. Functions applied to a member account require an initial deposit only. For member-sponsored functions, payment can be made via cash, cheque payable to Mississaugua Golf & Country Club or online via www.plastiq.com where a service fee will apply. Cancellations Should it become necessary to cancel a confirmed reservation, a cancellation charge will apply. Within 6 months prior to function, 30% of the estimated quote will be charged. HST & Service Charge All Food and Beverage service is subject to 13% HST and 18% Administration fee. Minimum Revenues A food and beverage minimum spend of $15,000 (excluding room rentals and taxes) from May to October is required for Saturday weddings. Please speak with your Catering Representative for minimum spends for off-seasonal dates and on Fridays and Sundays during the peak period.
Food and Beverage Details Menu Selections Menu choices are to be confirmed one month in advance. Club policy prohibits food and beverage to be brought in from outside with the exception of a celebratory cake. In accordance with health department regulations, leftover food will not be released to clients or guests. Dietary Requests Mississaugua Golf & Country Club will create one special meal which will encompass all of the restrictions requested for the event. Kosher meals are available at an additional cost and must be purchased exclusively through Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. Working Vendors Working vendors will be charged 50% off the adult price. Food Tasting Food tastings are to take place on select dates in the winter months. The tasting is for the couple only. Any additional guests are $40 per person for a three-course meal and $50 per person for a four-course meal. Food tastings are available for plated meals only. Hors d oeuvres and sweet or savory late night items are not available. Banquet Event Order A signed copy of the final banquet event order is required no later than 5 business days prior to the function date. Legal Obligations Club Policy does not permit the service of alcoholic beverages prior to 11:00 AM and after 1:00 AM Monday to Sunday. All entertainment should cease at that time to clear the room by 1:30AM. It is against the law to serve alcoholic beverages to a point of intoxication, or to minors.
Décor and Club Details Room Access Access to the function room is at 10:00AM Dresscode Collared shirts are required in the Lounge and Dining Room. Denim attire of any colour is not permitted in any area of the club. Please inquire for a full list of restrictions. Music Tarriffs For the use of music to accompany live events, Mississaugua Golf & Country Club is required by law to collect SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) and Re:Sound tariffs. However, certain areas, including areas of the greens are not available for photographs. Please discuss your particular needs with your Catering Representative. Please note that in agreeing to the contract, any pictures taken by Mississaugua Golf & Country Club of the wedding may be used in hard copy and online promotional material. Loss & Damage Mississaugua Golf & Country Club shall not assume responsibility for the damage or loss of merchandise or articles left at the Club prior to, during or following your function. Please make the necessary arrangements to have items removed immediately following your event. Should the Club incur damanges, the Client is solely responsible for the repair. Should there be extensive clean up, a clean up fee of $500.00 will be applied to the account.
