NEWS Adventure Twists Saffron Travel honeymoon tours across South East Asia Adding a bit of adventure can make a honeymoon that bit more special. Amongst several options, 4000 Islands in Laos and Vietnam s northern mountains are probably our favourites because they seem to strike just the right balance of romance and adventure. Northern mountains of Vietnam: We arrange trekking trips to this beautiful region from the well-known e.g. Sapa and Mai Chau, to the more off-the-beaten-track such as Pu Luong. We particularly recommend the North Eastern area of Ha Giang, Ba Be, Meo Vac which are less developed. Combine amazing adventure with relaxing time at a private lodge with special treatments and little extras such as room upgrades, private dinners or rose petal filled baths. 4000 Islands in Laos. Not as popular as Luang Prabang, but 4000 islands can be very charming and lovely for both honeymoons and anniversaries. The stunning natural beauty, vibrant local culture and breath-taking waterfalls make a trip here truly unforgettable.
