The company At the beginning of the XX century, there was a small almazara ( Olive Oil Mill ) which was driven by horses, using their power to mill the olives. In 1984, the above mentioned property was bought by the Garcia-Ramos family, who started to work with a consistent and unique purpose: to improve the quality of there oil each year, without losing the tradition and naturalness of previous years. They started transporting the olives in boxes to protect them from deterioration, and made a wealth of improvements that would have repercussions on the olive grower to enable him to savour the fruits of his own labor. Due to increase in young plantations of trees in the region,the Almazara de Lubrin moved to the industrial area of town in 1998. Creating there a modern factory which complements the objective of further improving the quality of its oil, but without losing the tradition of nature.

Why Olive-Oil from Lubrin? Lubrin is a small town situated in the Los Filabres mountain chain and is part of the province of Almería. The region is a small tip for very special olive oil. Due to its geographical position, we refer to the influence of a dry wind of the adjacent Desert of Tabernas and the salty, humid air of the Mediterranean sea. This very special micro climate, together with the more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year here in Almería, gives our olives a very mild and unique character. What us allows in turn to produce an olive juice of unsurpassed quality and taste.

FRUTADO nature Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra BIO - Cultivo Ecológico ( Organic ) An excellent olive oil from organic farming. The harvest of the olives are picked by hand just chosen maturity. Immediately after harvesting, the fruits brought in 20kg containers to the oil-mill. By the transport in small boxes it can be ensured that the olive is not due to excessive pressure, bruised or injured, and thus loss of quality. It should be in no case more than 8 hours between harvest and processing. The subsequent cold pressing allows us the maximum profit of ingredients such as the polyphenols (antioxidants), vitamins and obtaining 100% olive juice.

A cold-pressed oil extracted from olives of our own small plantation of about 3.000 olive trees, which are tended and maintained by the family García-Ramos day by day. Where no tree is more important than the other. An olive grove located amidst the valley of the desert of Tabernas. The result - 30,000 bottles of olive oil with an aroma of fresh grass, chlorophyll and other like banana. After a tasting you will find out we are dealing with a very special Olive-oil.
