2 CONNECTING THE IKAWApp to the ROASTER When the IKAWApp opens a message in the status bar at the top of the App will read LOOKING FOR ROASTER, indicating that it is looking for a Bluetooth signal from a IKAWA Roaster. When the signal from an IKAWA Roaster is found the IKAWApp will automatically connect to the roaster and the status bar will change colour to green and read READY TO PRE-HEAT... When connected a roaster the IKAWApp may ask to overwrite an existing profile in the library. This occurs if the machine carries a profile with the same name as another profile stored in the library. 1 The status bar of the App indicates the status of the IKAWA Roaster. In this case it shows the machine is ready to start a roast. 2 The top profile (with the machine silhouette) shows the profile on the machine; it also shows the ID of the IKAWA Roaster that is connected to the App. The Profile Library shows all profiles that are stored in your library. 3 Profiles in the library can be listed, either by name or in order of use. 3

The profile represents the temperature and fan speed over time for a given roast: 1 Name of the Profile 2 The RED line shows the programmed temperature over time. 3 The White line shows the programmed air flow (fan speed) over time. 4 On machine already shows that this profile is currently on the machine.
