ST. GABRIEL S HALL INC. BOOKING AGREEMENT 1. CASH BAR ONLY. There are no exceptions. 2. The party for whom St. Gabriel s Hall is reserved shall be liable financially for all damages to the building, furniture or equipment: Loss or theft of personal property will be the responsibility of the applicant. 3. The Rental Fee for Wedding Receptions is $400.00 +tax (nonrefundable) and is required in full to confirm booking date. 4. We accept only; Cash, Money Orders or Certified Cheques. Please make cheques payable to St. Gabriel s Hall Inc. 5. Hall Management reserves the right to terminate any function due to unacceptable behaviour. 6. St. Gabriel s Hall Inc. must supply all alcoholic beverages, as per Section 43 of the Newfoundland & Labrador Liquor Control Act. This includes wine for tables. There is a $3.00 corking fee per bottle of wine. 7. St. Gabriel s Hall has the exclusive right to serve all food & beverages within the premises; therefore, no food or beverages of any kind will be permitted in the hall by any patron and/or guest. 8. Bartender charges will be $12.00 per hour, for groups less than 100 people. 9. Our facility is Non Smoking 10. All decorations/props, etc for Friday events must be removed from St. Gabriel s Hall by 8 a.m. Saturday morning in order to allow time for Saturday events set up. Decorating at St. Gabriel s Hall will be by a professional decorator only. 11. We have all the equipment required for audio/visual presentations. Please let us know ASAP what you require for microphones/video/ slide shows, etc. You will be responsible for running you videos and slide shows. PAGE 1 WEDDING PACKAGE
12. Please note that if you are requesting meal service as part of your function, you must negotiate this with St. Gabriel s Hall official Caterer. See page 5 of this document for catering information. 13. Round tables can be used for a guest list of 160 or less (the head table would be included) in the 160. (8 people or less to a table) 14. For a guest list of 160 or more, rectangular tables will be used (8 people or more to a table). 15. Maximum number of guests is 216 for a function (including head table). 13. If you are ordering wine for your event the order should be placed 2 weeks prior to the event. 14. The hall will be opened at 6 pm for cocktails and all meals are served at 7:00 PM. 15. All prices are current and guaranteed for 60 days. 16. Confetti is not permitted inside or outside the hall or as decorations on tables. 17. Thumbtacks and adhesive tapes are not permitted for decorating. 18. The halls caterer requires the actual number of guest attending the function 14 days prior to the event. 19. Meals which have been guaranteed for the function but are not served may be distributed to guests present as second servings. Meals will not be prepared for takeout.
