Upcoming Movie Nights April 7th - The Ten Commandments (1956) April 21st - Oceans Eleven (2001) Future of Geopolitics Be it resolved, the liberal international order is over APRIL 28, 2017 at 7:00 PM LIVE STREAM May 5th - A Fistful of Dollars May 12th - Ran (1985) - directed by A. Kurasawa May 19th - The Departed Since the end of World War II, global affairs have been shaped by the increasing free movement of people and goods, international rules setting, and a broad appreciation of the mutual benefits of a more interdependent world. Together these factors defined the liberal international order and sustained an era of rising global prosperity and declining international conflict. But now, for the first time in a generation, the pillars of the liberal internationalism are being shaken to their core by the reassertion of national borders, national interests, and nationalist politics across the globe. Can liberal internationalism survive these challenges and remain the defining rules-based system of the future? Or, are we witnessing the beginning of the end of the liberal international order? To engage with the geopolitical issue of our time, the Spring 2017 Munk Debate will move the motion: be it resolved, the liberal international order is over May 26th - Sliding Doors (1998) Round Table Luncheon Tuesday, April 18th HOLD THE DATE We ll be reserving a block of tickets for the June 1st Toronto Blue Jays vs the New York Yankees game 2

Library Dining Now Tuesday through Friday We are pleased to offer to the members of the Club our commitment that we will provide luncheon and dinner service in the Library; Tuesday through Friday. If the Library should be unavailable we will relocate dining to another suitable room in the Club. When making a reservation for the library you will be informed if library dining has been relocated. We try to avoid this as often as possible, but feel that the President s Room or the Main Dining Room make marvellous rooms for dining with white linen and attentive service. 8
