TERMS AND CONDITIONS Provisional Reservation Our facilities can be reserved provisionally for up to 1 week but in the event that another client wishes to confirm the same date, you would be contacted to confirm the function and requested to pay the deposit. Confirmation A booking will only become confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. Unless other wise stated, exclusive use of The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant is not given to bookings. Deposits & Pre-Payments We request non-refundable deposits of 5 per person or 250.00 per wedding booking. Full pre-payment of the outstanding balance one month prior to the event date. The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant reserves the right to cancel the event if the appropriate deposits are not received within the specified time limit. Final Numbers & Non-Arrivals The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant must be notified of the final number attending an event at least one month prior to the event (guaranteed minimum number). The charge to the client will be based on either the actual number attending or the guaranteed minimum number, whichever is the greater. In the event of non-arrival full charges apply. Reduction in Numbers Conference, private banqueting such as christening, funerals A charge will be levied when final numbers drop below 90% of the original contracted numbers. However should a reduction in numbers result in the final numbers falling below the minimum number guaranteed, charges for the minimum number guaranteed will apply. Cancellation & Postponement If a confirmed booking is cancelled, the cancellation charge will be payable based on the terms below less any deposit. 0-112 Days 100% (0-16 weeks) 113-252 Days 75% (16-36 weeks) 253-365 Days 50% (36-52 weeks) Postponement acts as cancellation unless the event is re-booked and takes place in the same calendar month as the original date of booking. The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on its parts should any event arise outside which may prejudice the reputation of The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant and prevent it carrying out obligations regarding the booking. Licensing If a licence extension is required, the organiser is requested to confirm the extended time at least 28 days prior to the event. Please note that a licence extension cannot be guaranteed. All restrictions adhered by the licensing authorities must be to. No guests are to be on the terrace areas after 11.00pm. Staff will ask your guests from 10.30pm to vacate these areas. All bars shall be closed Monday Friday at 11.00pm. Saturday 12.00 and Sunday 10.30pm. We operate Challenge 25. Any person under 18 found attempting to purchase alcohol shall be asked to leave the premises as will any person over 18 attempting to purchase alcohol for any underage person. Hire of Entertainment All entertainment for functions has to be booked through ourselves. The cost of our resident DJ is 250.00. We do not allow live music or external DJ artists unless otherwise pre-authorised. Prices All prices in our information pack are current at the time of going to print. The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant reserves the right to amend prices should costs increase substantially due to seasonal fluctuations, for which prior notice will be given. Prices may be adjusted to allow for changes in either VAT or other Government taxes and currency fluctuations. The current rate of VAT is 20%. Advertising No advertisement, public or otherwise, of any function at The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant may be exhibited without our permission. The use of advertising and promotional material such as banners or place cards shall be at the discretion of The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant. These may not be put into place until the date of the event, and must be removed immediately thereafter. Damage Whilst you/and your guests are occupying the property of The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant, it would be appreciated if every effort is made to safeguard the existing fixtures, fittings and decorations. Any damage caused shall be restored by The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant, and the cost incurred will be recharged to client/hirer. Loss and Damage to Property The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant shall not be liable for any loss or damage of the guests or any such person as may so occupy the premises except within the constraints of the Hotel Proprietor Act 1965. Health and Safety Guests using the facilities at The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant must comply with all the regulations concerning licensing, fire, health and safety. The client s organiser & suppliers for such event must make the attendees knowledgeable of the Pub and Restaurants fire procedures. A copy of the Health and Safety policy is available upon request. They must also be able to produce a copy of any up-to date public liability insurance notice, risk assessments and be prepared to complete a health and safety form if requested to do so. The Cadeby reserves the right to deny access to any supplier who does not comply. Smoking Policy The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant runs a strictly No Smoking policy within all buildings, including the Med Room. This also includes E- Cigarettes. There are designated external areas available if you wish to smoke. Anyone found to be smoking inside any prohibited areas will be asked to extinguish the cigarette or move to the correct areas. Those refusing to do so shall be asked to leave the premises. Parking The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant is restricted on parking spaces at busy times. Private room bookings for the weekends are encouraged to advise their guests of the limitation of parking and maybe advised to seek alternative transportation. Carriages The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant is in a rural location and one that is difficult to obtain taxis late at night after your function. We would always recommend prior booking of taxis for yourself and your guests. Please note that our staff shall help where possible to arrange taxis, however at busy times may not be able to assist. We do have a duty of care to report any person suspected of attempting to drive under the influence of alcohol. Liability The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant will not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, inconvenience or annoyance. MISCELLANEOUS The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage. No self-catering is allowed other than Wedding cakes, favours, etc. Please ask to confirm. Corkage Fee @ 12.50 per 70cl bottle. No food or drink provided by The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant during your function can be taken off site for further consumption and any guest consuming alcohol that has not been provided by The Cadeby Pub and Restaurant will be asked to leave the premises.
