RHEINHESSEN Tourism in Rheinhessen - development The development of the number of visitors in Rheinhessen constantly rising. The number of visitors with 950.965 increased by 4,7 % compared to the preceding year and surpassed the national average. The number of overnight stays rose by 2,4 % to 1.538.274 Compared to the last 10 years, Rheinhessen has gained 25,1 % in overnight stays and 36,1 % in visitors and is one of the most dynamic tourist regions in Rhineland-Palatinate and among other German wine-growing regions.
