In our 4* Hotel of refined standing, 34 air-conditioned bedrooms and junior suites, combine perfectly medieval decoration and modern comfort; some have a four-poster bed or a Renaissance fireplace. The restaurant is decorated with medieval tapestries and shields; in this felted atmosphere you can taste dishes and wines, symbols of our regional gastronomy. Lit by natural day light through large windows overlooking the park, 3 reception rooms feature majestic fireplaces and à la Française ceilings and can accommodate from 50 to 95 guests.

General conditions of sale and settlement Weddings and Banqueting The Château des Ducs de Joyeuse undertakes to organize, to conceive, to implement completion of the services listed on the estimate made by mutual agreement. The client agrees to comply with the following conditions: Registration and booking: All reservation must be confirmed in writing and accompanied by a deposit equal to the first third of the amount of the pro-forma invoice when booking the castle and of another third of the amount three months before the event. The balance must be paid on the day of departure. Cancellation clause: All cancellation must be notified in writing at the Château des Ducs de Joyeuse and the deposit required when making the booking cannot be refunded. Cancellation less than 15 days prior to the event: the total estimate is due. Partial cancellation of place settings: the exact number of guests has to be given to us 15 days prior to the banqueting. This number will be used as the basis of preparation and billing, according to the initial price. If the number increases substantially 8 days prior to the reception, additional meals would be provided to the extent of our supply. 15 days before the event, a margin of 10% fee is tolerated compared with the initial booking. Any cancellation will be charged an additional 50%. Cancellations within 8 working days will be charged 100%. Specific information: we ask the organizer to notify us in advance if one of his guests, for medical reasons, must follow a special diet. This information must be communicated at least 8 days prior to the event. Exhibitions: exhibitions in public areas of the Hotel are subject to approval by the Hotel owner. Any installation by the customer shall be in accordance with the specifications of the hotel, and the latest safety regulations in force in establishments open to the public. The organizer is committing to return the premises in their original condition at his own expense. Insurance: the hotel will not be held responsible for any theft or damage that can occur to the equipment stored by the organizer. The organizer is responsible for any damage that he or his guests may cause during the event. The management of the hotel reserves the right to cancel the contract in case of absolute necessity or unforeseeable circumstances that require doing so (strike, fire, water damage).
