Special Exhibition, Let Me Be Myself: The Life of Anne Frank, at the Dallas Holocaust Museum Join us on Tuesday, January 15 th to visit the special exhibition, Let Me Be Myself: The Story of Anne Frank, at the Dallas Holocaust Museum. In 1933, the Nazi government started persecuting Germany s Jewish citizen, this include the Frank family. The family moved to Amsterdam where they lived a somewhat normal life until they had to go into hiding in what was called the Secret Annex. About 2 years later, they were discovered and were sent to concentration camps. Throughout the time in hiding, Anne passed her time by writing about her life in hiding, her feelings of loneliness and about the war, humanity and her own identity. Let Me Be Myself tells the story of Anne Frank in a modern way, addressing current day issues of identity, exclusion, and discrimination. This is an exhibit you will soon not forget.
