Boulder Organic soups are made in small batches and are all certified organic, certified gluten-free and non-gmo. Boulder Organic Foods supports organic farmers across the nation. In 2015, the company purchased 2,069,000 pounds of organic ingredients, supporting over 2,555 acres of organic agriculture. Boulder Organic Foods believes that everyone should have access to delicious, organic food, and so is proud to partner with Community Food Share and other nonprofits in the Boulder, Colorado area. The company is ecstatic that it continues to donate over 80,000 servings of fresh, organic soup to these organizations each year. Boulder Organic Foods produces all its products in its owned facility in Boulder County, CO. This facility is SQF Level 3 certified, the highest food safety rating for food manufacturing, and dedicated organic and gluten-free. FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT LEADERSHIP Kate Brown is founder and president of Boulder Organic Foods LLC and has been developing the Boulder Organic! Brand since 2006. An avid supporter of the local natural foods industry, Kate is a member and sponsor of Naturally Boulder, a professional organization targeting natural products and services in the area. Kate is also a member of the CU Leeds School of Business Women s Council. She holds a bachelor s degree in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University and a Master s in Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. A Colorado native, Kate makes her home and professional life in Boulder, enjoying the community of natural product entrepreneurs. Her passions include golfing, running and family. CEO Greg Powers was appointed CEO of Boulder Organic Foods LLC in 2013. Since joining the company in 2009, he has served in a variety of roles including Chief Operating Officer and Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Boulder Organic Foods, Greg was VP of Sales and Marketing for D.O.G. Development, a nationally recognized dog daycare and boarding franchise. Powers holds a bachelor s degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado. Also residing in Boulder, Greg takes full advantage of the close proximity to the outdoors. He enjoys cooking gourmet meals, spending time with his dogs, and attending sports games at his nearby alma mater.
OUR STANDARDS We accept only the best like whole, organic produce, savory spices and people with a passion for doing things right. All Boulder Organic products are cooked in our dedicated organic and gluten-free kitchen. We start with only certified organic, certified gluten-free, and Non-GMO ingredients. We laugh in the face of artificial ingredients and preservatives because frankly, compromise just isn t our style. And honestly, who wants to eat something that s been sitting on a shelf for a year?
