From the 30 s to the 90 s Martinus Van der Valk inherited his parents farm De Gouden Leuw (the Golden Lion) when his mom passed away in 1929 Martinus became a successful car trader thanks to his concept of the car wheels to the horse cart for more silence Idea of the bar serving food. While Riet, Martinus wife, is in charge of the restaurant, Martinus continues selling cars and travelling to find new restaurants to install his concept Every children of Martinus and Riet work very hard to follow the example of their dad. Two of the sons start to play a more prominent role: Arie and Gerrit Van der Valk. Executive x18 (35-40m2) The executive rooms are more spacious and luxurious dressed doubles. The rooms are very large with a bathroom (bath and shower).
