Here at The Old Lodge we can help relieve the pressure from what could be a tiring and stressful time and take care of all your catering requirements. Enclosed are some sample menus for you but as I say, they are simply samples and so if you have other thoughts about what you might like, do say, but I hope at least these give you an indication of cost. We have three beautifully decorated rooms at The Old Lodge. The panoramic restaurant with views across the Five Valleys, our smaller, more intimate panel room or our breakfast room. With great flexibility of space, The Old Lodge is suited to small numbers of 10 or larger numbers of 150. Minimum spends exclude accommodation and over the bar sales. ½ DAY HIRE (11am-5pm) PANORAMIC RESTAURANT Monday-Thursday 750.00 Friday 1,500.00 Saturday 2,500.00 THE BAR The panoramic restaurant has its own self-contained bar serving draught lager, cider and ales, a selection of popular spirits, wines by the glass/bottle and soft drinks.. The Cotswold Food Club offers a selection of inviting venues in the Stroud Valleys that can cater for everything from a pint and a pie to an elegant wedding. The group's own farm in Woodchester supplies a limited amount of lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork and venison, supplemented from farms in therefore offering only traceable, free range meat. Each venue is unique, yet sticks to our ethos of offering high quality, locally sourced food and drink in a relaxed and friendly environment. Since 1993 Nick Beardsley and Christophe Coquoin have been building the company and their experience and hospitality draws in customers from the local towns of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Cirencester, Stroud and beyond. The pubs and hotel are set in historic buildings amid beautiful Cotswold scenery and have a laid back, family friendly atmosphere: think log fires and snug chairs for chilly evenings, lovely gardens and terraces for the summer months, and welcoming, knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS A provisional booking can be held before we will require a deposit from you. This allows time to co-ordinate other funeral details, which may affect your chosen date. Should another customer request the date that you have provisionally held we will contact you and ask that a deposit is paid early to secure the date. 1. To secure your booking we will require a signed copy of your booking terms and conditions, together with a 50% deposit of the total estimated cost. This payment will not be refunded and is not transferable. 2. Final numbers to be given 2 days prior to the day of the event. 3. The final account is to be settled on the day of the event. 4. Settlements of any extras incurred on the day must be paid before departure. WRITTEN CONFIRMATION AND FINAL NUMBERS All reservations are considered provisional and are subject to release until confirmation has been received. Only upon receipt of a booking fee and a signed booking conditions will the reservation be considered as confirmed. Room confirmation, menu choices, wine choices and final numbers are required no later than two days prior to the event. INSURANCES AND DAMAGES We accept no responsibility what so ever for loss or damage to individual s possessions whilst in the property, additionally, wilful damage to the property will be charged for. Insurance is strongly recommended when engaging in activities organised by subcontractors. We request that your party is respectful and considers those future guests who wish to find the Lodge in pristine condition for their event. DEPOSITS To make a confirmed booking, a signed copy of our booking conditions and a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the final estimated invoice are required. PAYMENT The remaining balance must be settled on the day of the event. Credit facilities are not available for private individuals. Payment can be made by Cash, Credit/Debit cards or cheques made payable to The Old Lodge. CANCELLATION CHARGES All cancelled function bookings will incur a charge, these are as follows: 90days cancellation 50%, 60 days cancellation notice 75% and 30 days at 100%. Charges will be calculated upon the estimated final invoice, including any accommodation booked. Please be aware that if we do not receive a signed copy of the booking conditions on confirmation, your booking will still be considered provisional and may be cancelled if we receive another enquiry, therefore it is imperative that you return a signed copy with your deposit.
