RCR DA VINCI COLLECTION Collezione 2013 RCR DA VINCI COLLECTION Per le case e le tavole chic e internazionali RCR Cristalleria Italiana spa è la più importante cristalleria in Italia e tra le più grandi al mondo. Si trova a Colle di Val d Elsa, nel cuore della Toscana, e, con oltre 40 anni di tradizione ed expertise nel cristallo, rappresenta un simbolo del design italiano nel mondo della tavola e della casa. La storia di RCR Cristalleria Italiana è radicata nella tradizione vetraria valdelsana, la costituzione dell azienda risale al 1967 dalla fusione di due vetrerie locali prettamente artigianali. L innovazione tecnologica e commerciale ha fatto parte dei valori aziendali sin dall inizio, con l introduzione nel 1973, per prima in Italia, del forno a fusione elettrica e della prima linea automatizzata e nel 1975 dell impianto per la produzione di calici, sino all innovazione nei materiali. RCR è assolutamente Made in Italy: il polo industriale possiede un elevato grado di integrazione verticale che gli permette di concentrare al proprio interno il processo produttivo che va dal design del prodotto e dalla progettazione e realizzazione degli stampi fino alla commercializzazione e distribuzione in Italia e all estero, in oltre 80 paesi. RCR è rispetto per l ambiente: da sempre l azienda focalizza il proprio impegno di ricerca, le proprie risorse tecnico-scientifiche ed i propri investimenti sullo sviluppo sostenibile e sulle tematiche ambientali, con l obiettivo di conciliare la gestione dei processi produttivi e il reperimento delle risorse energetiche, quando possibile rinnovabili (come gli impianti fotovoltaici recentemente installati), con l equità sociale e gli equilibri ambientali e preservare l ambiente sia interno che esterno alla fabbrica. RCR DA VINCI COLLECTION For chic, international homes and tables RCR Cristalleria Italiana is Italy s leading crystal producer, and one of the largest in the world. Located in the town of Colle di Val d Elsa in the heart of Tuscany, with over 40 years of crystal tradition and expertise, it is a symbol of Italian design for the home and table. RCR was born in 1967 through the mergers of two artisanal glassmakers, and proudly carries on the tradition of crystal in the Valdelsa area reinterpreting the secrets of the ancient art of glassmaking with creativity and innovation. RCR DA VINCI COLLECTION Collezione 2013 Commercial and technological innovation are part of the company s values since the very beginning: in 1973, the company first introduced an electric melting furnace and the first automated production line and in 1975, when RCR set up of the first plant for the automatic production of stemware. Recently, innovation regards materials. RCR is 100% made in Italy: the industrial plant has a high degree of vertical integration that allows to concentrate the entire production process, from product design to planning and realization to mould-making to commercialization and distribution in Italy and abroad, all in the green heart of Tuscany, in Colle di Val d Elsa.
