Benefits Base pay, either hourly or salary, is just one of the ways we compensate Starbucks partners, the term we use for our employees. We offer comprehensive and extensive benefits to all qualifying individuals who work 20 or more hours per week. The specific benefits available to partners depend on their individual roles. For members of the Guard and Reserve, Starbucks provides up to 80 hours of annual military leave with full pay to support annual training obligations. When partners are called to active duty, we pay the difference between their Starbucks wages and military wages for up to 78 weeks.
