Vineyards of Bordeaux Bordeaux Robert Parker 2011 A lot of good winemaking has produced excellent wines throughout Bordeaux received an early and hot spring which was followed by a cool and cloudy summer. The month of August witnessed rain but was then followed by warm, dry weather in September which lasted through to early October. These weather conditions gave careful winemakers a chance to make excellent wines. Wines from the 2011 Bordeaux vintage are fresh, bright, and aromatic. 2011 Bordeaux is another excellent year for the sweet Bordeaux wines of Sauternes and Barsac as well as being strong for the white wines of Bordeaux. The reds show very good fruits and intense tannins along with bright acidity.
