2 Dear Sirs, We invite you to participate in the second edition of the International Food Fair Warsaw Food Expo 2018, which will take place from 24th to 26th of May 2018 at the Warsaw Expo Fair and Congress Center in Nadarzyn near Warsaw. Warsaw Food Expo, which took place in June 2017, had a successful outcome. We hosted nearly 300 food companies, including exhibitors from Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Georgia and Romania. The event was held under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Krzysztof Jurgiel. The Warsaw Food Expo will be an excellent opportunity to promote food products and thereby connect with retailers, the HORECA industry, as well as international buyers. During the fair there will be a B2B meeting area, where we have invited buying groups from the United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, China, Thailand, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands and Belgium. At the Warsaw Food Expo 2018, companies will present meat, fish, milk, beverages, fruit and vegetables, bakery and confectionery, alcohol. Regional and traditional products will be found in the Region Zone. The program will also include conferences and seminars for both exhibitors and visitors. 3 WHY PARTICIPATE IN THE FAIR: 01 02 03 According to GfK Polonia and Nielsen reports - Polish FMCG market is in good shape. Its value is estimated at around PLN 250 billion (according to data for 2016). In the next few years it is expected to grow by 2-3% per year. According to GUS data, Polish consumers spend up to 20% on food. The condition of Polish household budgets improves. It is influenced by the increasing labor market situation, wage growth, and the government s 500+ program.
