PRIVATE EVENTS The Penrose is available for private parties and events for any occasion. THE SPENCER ROOM THE SPENCER ROOM IS THE MOST POPULAR OPTION FOR SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZED PARTIES.

THE SPENCER ROOM 7 DAYS A WEEK 46 PERSON SEATED CAPACITY 60 PERSON STANDING CAPACITY AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE EVENTS 7 DAYS A WEEK, THE ROOM HAS ITS OWN PRIVATE BAR WITH 10 SEATS, AND 6 TABLES THAT SIT 30 ADDITIONAL GUESTS. CAPACITY & HOSPITALITY ADDITIONAL TABLES MAY BE USED TO ADD 6 ADDITIONAL SEATS MAKING A COMBINED SEATING CAPACITY OF 46. Seating and standing parties can host over 60 GUESTS. Events may be booked for any time during regular business hours, for brunch, lunch, dinner, or cocktail receptions. Parties are DESIGNATED THEIR OWN BARTENDER(S), SERVERS(S), AND A DOOR HOST TO WELCOME YOUR GUESTS, and control entry into the room. A coat check attendant can also be available during colder months. BOOKING THE SPENCER ROOM IS BOOKED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS, and requires a minimum (per hour) guaranteed spend for food and beverage combined. TYPICALLY A MINIMUM BOOKING OF TWO HOURS IS REQUIRED. However, the minimum number of hours may vary depending on the day and time of the event. Sections of the room can be closed off for smaller party reservations. Such reservations require a smaller (per hour) guaranteed spend. THE STATION ROOM (OR A SECTION OF IT) CAN BE ADDED IN ADDITION TO THE SPENCER ROOM FOR LARGER EVENTS. ENTIRE SPACE BUYOUTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE PARTIES, WEDDING RECEPTIONS, AND CORPORATE EVENTS. For quotes, please email EVENTS@PENROSEBAR.COM. Please include information on times, dates and the purpose of your event. For quotes on booking The Station Room please email us at EVENTS@PENROSEBAR.COM. Please include details of dates, THE PENROSE CAN CATER FOOD FOR ANY SIZED EVENT. However, with bar buy out events, parties are permitted to use external catering companies should they have different food preferences. Catering companies are permitted to use The Penrose kitchen facilities if required.

G UEST CHECK OPTIONS AND BOOK ING EVENTS G UEST CHECK OPTIONS TO BOOK AN EVENT GENERAL PARTY TAB Your guests order from our regular food and drink menu, and all orders are added to ONE CENTRALIZED TAB. A customized menu with food and drink restrictions can be made upon request. INDIVIDUAL TABS Separate parties / individuals order from our regular food and drink menu, and PAY TABS SEPARATELY. At the end of the event, tabs will be added up to calculate total spend. IN THE EVENT THAT TOTAL MINIMUM SPENDS ARE NOT MET, THE SECURED CREDIT CARD WILL BE DEBITED / CREDITED FOR ANY OUTSTANDING MINIMUM GUARANTEE CHARGES, PLUS 20% SERVICE FEE. Private event reservations can be made by emailing EVENTS@ PENROSEBAR.COM. A cash or credit card booking DEPOSIT OF 20% OF THE GUARANTEED MINIMUM SPEND is required for events in advance of the party. RESERVATIONS ARE SECURED ONCE A SIGNED AND COMPLETED CONTRACT IS RECEIVED FROM THE PARTY. Deposits are charged upon receipt of contracts. If the event is cancelled deposits are refundable up to 10 days in advance of the scheduled event. Deposits can not be refunded if the event is cancelled within 10 days of the scheduled date. Events in December require a 21- day cancellation notice for a full deposit refund.
